Jess stood outside the school gates waiting on Mason. 15 minutes later Mason made an appearance.
“So what time to do you call this dude?” Jess smiled
Mason’s face lit up seeing his sister, he ran and jumped into her arms.
“God I missed you” Jess said
“I missed you too, are you home for good?”
“I sure am” Jess smiled “Come on let’s get home we’ve some catching up to do”
“We have some game buying to do you promised if I was good…”
“Yes I’m well aware of that” Jess smiled “However I need Mum and Mama to confirm it first”
Mason smiled “They will”
Jess put her arm around Mason as they walked
“So fill me in what’s been happening?” Jess asked
“Not a lot to be honest everyone mopped around like a lost puppy because you were gone me included” Mason admitted “Carmen missed you a lot”
“I missed everyone a lot” Jess said “But I had to go for a little while”
“Well I’m glad your back” Mason stated
They walked into the house, Lisa and Jace looked up from the sofa.
“Mason Mum just called she said she wants your room spotless before she gets home or you will be grounded…don’t shoot the messenger” Lisa smirked
“Damn I didn’t think she’d notice it” Mason sighed
“Come on I’ll help you” Jess smiled following him up the stairs
Mason opened his bedroom door and Jess’s mouth hit the ground.
“What the hell?” Jess said
“I was preoccupied” Mason smiled
“With what? Dropping everything?”
Mason just smirked
“This is going to take a while” Jess sighed

Meanwhile at Carmen’s house…
“God is that smile big enough” Andrew laughed
“I’m just happy she’s home” Carmen explained
“Why you home? Where is she?” Andrew asked handing Carmen a glass of orange and sitting down
“She’s spending a little time with Mason she’ll be back later”
“What is so special about Jess” Andrew laughed “honestly she’s got some effect on you”
“She’s just I don’t even know how to describe it, I just want her so much and I always have, I can remember in high school like when I was 15 I use to watch her and think I want to be the girl she gives her hoodie to wear and cuddles up next to when it’s cold.” Carmen smiled
“And did that happen?”
“And more…she’s the one who comes up behind me and wraps her arms around my waist, catching me off guard and whispers sweet comments giving me the biggest rush in the planet…She’s my soul mate” Carmen explained “Dude I can’t describe it honestly she’s just Jess”
“She’s a popstar rockstar whatever star” Andrew laughed
“She’s much more than that to me and to her family and when you get to know her you will see that”
“She really hurt you though how can you just forgive her; I can’t even look at Jenny”
“Totally different circumstances, Jess has never ever cheated on me and I don’t think she would ever consider it we both can’t stand cheaters and believe if you don’t want to be with someone you tell them”
“I suppose her life can’t be easy with all the travelling and the pressure”
“Jess is one the most caring people you will ever come across” Carmen smiled
“I’ve heard stories; in school she had a temper and stuff why the fuck didn’t she lamp that kirsty one in the face with a frying pan or something”
“Good question” Carmen said
“She seems pretty quiet” Andrew said
“Yeah no she isn’t” Carmen laughed “She’s giving you a false sense of security”
“Has she always been music in the brain?” Andrew asked
“Yeah I’ve known her for just over 9 years and it’s always been her life, there’s honestly not an instrument she can’t play”
“Really I thought she could just sing and play a little guitar”
Carmen looked at Andrew “She writes all the music with Jace and she’s 10 times better than Jace on guitar no offence to him”
“But she never really plays guitar”
“Come watch these, this was her in high school” Carmen laughed patting the sofa next to her and lifting her laptop
