    Previously… Outside the hospital… The deputy was about to make his departure but forgot one important detail, he forgot to have Tina sign off on her statement so that proper charges could be filed. He got out of his car and started making his way back to Tina’s room. Back in Tina’s room… Henry walked

    Outside the hospital…

    The deputy was about to make his departure but forgot one important detail, he forgot to have Tina sign off on her statement so that proper charges could be filed. He got out of his car and started making his way back to Tina’s room.

    Back in Tina’s room…

    Henry walked over to Tina’s bed and looked down at her with a dark anger in his eyes.

    Henry: I’m going to make sure you keep your lips closed.

    As soon as that sentence left Henry’s mouth, he reached over and grabbed a tight hold on Tina’s neck. Her monitor started buzzing and she was grasping for air but none was received. Tina got one more look into Henry’s face and her whole life with him started flashing before her eyes as she felt them slowly shutting and feeling herself fading into a bright light.

    Disturbance – The end of a nightmare

    Tina felt her body drifting into that light and just before she reached it, her body immediately pulled away and the light began to go out. The sounds of mens voice brought her back to reality..

    Deputy: HANDS IN THE AIR…ON THE GROUND NOW!!

    Henry looked over to see the deputy standing in the door way with his caliber pointed directly into Henry.

    Deputy: GET ON THE GROUND NOW!!

    Henry dropped to his knees.

    Deputy: LAY YOUR HANDS OUT WHERE I CAN SEE THEM AND FACE DOWN!!

    Henry did as told. The deputy picked up his walkie talkie and called the altercation in.

    Deputy: This is the deputy, I have a 217 requesting back up.

    The deputy walked over to where Henry was lying face down and pointed his knee in the middle of Henry back, slapping the cuffs tightly around his wrist.

    Deputy: DON’T YOU MOVE!!

    The deputy went over to check on Tina but with his gun still pointed at Henry.

    Deputy: Ms. Kennard can you hear me? Are you ok?

    Tina had slowly opened her eyes when she heard the deputy voice shouting at Henry and then watched as Henry was cuff and arrested.

    Tina: (gasping for air) y..yea im fine.

    Deputy: Are you sure, he didn’t hurt you did he?

    Tina: I’ll be ok.

    The nurses and doctors were also running in at that moment.

    1. I’m sorry that Tina had to go through so much, but it wouldn’t stop until she stopped it. If you know anyone out there please encourage them to get help. Change starts with ourselves remember that.

      Well done TN1 for bringing attention to a problem which is worldwide and affects all regardless of their class creed or sexual orientation and for offering a solution to those who summon up the courage to take it.
