Helena and Dylan
“Dylan please give me a chance to apologize and make it up to you.” Helena begged. She’d been trying to talk to Dylan ever since they got into the limo. Between them she and Winnie attempted to soften Dylan’s obstinacy but all they’d managed was to upset her. If she hadn’t wanted to spend the evening with Bette and the rest of their friends at RADAR she would have stayed home. Instead here she was in the confines of the vehicle sitting across from the vilest woman that she’d ever met in her life.
“Helena what do you think you could possibly say or do to make up for attempted rape?” Dylan spat in disgust. Turning away she stared out the window and thought back to the time she’d spent with Helena in London.
Dylan was on the grant committee for Peabody Corporation Social Justice Foundation based in New York City. The Director sent her to London on a special project to evaluate several new grant submissions. She was teamed with Helena Peabody who was bright and had great insight into the organizations that were seeking the funding. Dylan was friendly and easy going by nature. She and Helena seemed to hit it off immediately, but a few days after they started working together Dylan would catch Helena looking at her in a way that made her uncomfortable. Shortly after the touching started. Helena would put her hand on the small of Dylan’s back when walking or touched her hands when talking. Sometimes Helena would ‘accidentally’ graze her breast or pass her hands along Dylan’s backside. At first Helena would apologize and Dylan brushed it off but soon noticed that the inappropriate touching was happening more often and seemed more deliberate. Whenever they were alone Helena’s conversations were frequently peppered with sexual innuendos. It got to a point where all their interactions made Dylan uneasy.
Dylan knew Helena was a lesbian and though she had no problem with her sexual orientation she did have a problem with Helena coming on to her. She had no interest in women and moreover she had a steady boyfriend back in New York to whom she was faithful. She was in love and would never betray the relationship or his trust with another man much less a woman.

Nice update. Finding out about the seedy side of Helena. Money is intoxicating. Toxic being the main idea.
