    “I’m just the messenger, I knew representing you both was a crazy idea” Joyce stated

    “Well I never in my wildest fucking dreams imagined this, I knew Bette was unpredictable but this is just a joke an absolute joke! 3 kids a house and 28 years of my life on this woman and she wants to throw it away for absolutely no logical reason” Tina ranted “I’ve been married too her for 28 years and I’ve cried more this past 2 weeks than I have my entire fucking life, has she any idea what she’s doing to me!”

     

    Bette sat watching Jess’s latest music video, tears streaming down her face. Lisa had incorporated the full family into the video with clips of family holidays and Christmas and other special occasions, both girls weddings and Jess recording the song live.

    “You need to go home Bette” Kit said watching her sister

    “I can’t”

    “Look how much your family is hurting through all this, they want to look after you and your just being stubborn and twisted”

    “I asked Tina for a divorce”

    “WHAT…That’s the craziest thing you’ve ever said to me” Kit shook her head

    “My grandchildren hate me through my stupidity do you want them to feel the same about you?” Melvin said

    “Off course I don’t” Bette stated

    “You can’t just walk away from your family because you are hurting” Kit stated “Because let’s face it that’s what you’re doing.”

    “None of you understand!” Bette snapped “This isn’t easy for me!”

    “What about Tina? That woman has done absolutely everything to support you and you walk out on her!”

    Bette closed her eyes taking a deep breath.

     

    Tina sat at her desk in the studio looking at her online bank accounts.

    “She hasn’t touched a penny” Tina said to Louise “Where the fuck are you Bette”

    “She’ll be using grandads account” Lisa stated “Oh my god…That’s where she is Mum”
