    Bette’s POV
I’m so happy to be back at home. I’m lying in bed, it’s been a day since Tina brought me home from the hospital. It is nice to be at home, to hear the kids play and laugh and to lie in bed in Tina’s arms. Ben phoned this morning, he wanted to come and see me. We need to finalise the divorce and everything that is part of that.
There are a few things still outstanding. He needs to sell the three houses that we own as well as the farm. Yes we bought a cattle farm a few years ago, luckily we didn’t really live there, and otherwise I would be a farmer’s wife. Not really my scene. That is why we decided to get a farm manager. I’ve been there a couple of times, but like I said, it is not really my scene. If everything goes according to plan we will get for all about 30 million, which will be divided by 2. 15 million to go in to my bank account. The house that I stayed in after I moved out of our mansion was always my house. A friend of mine lived in it, but moved to New York about 6 months ago. Now I’m ready to sell it, and use that money to pay Eric for his part of the beach house.
Money is not really that important to me. As long as I’ve got food on the table and a roof over my head, then I’m happy. But Ben liked his money, Ben is nothing without money. He like to show off his money, a new car, and not just one, a sports car, a SUV, etc. He likes to buy things, spoil Holly, Me and then of course Lynda! And then she stabbed him in the back and took all his money. Shame.
But that is life, you win some and you lose some……..
He still got his business, so he can start again, or may just sell it….. But that is his decision, not mine.

The door to our room open and Tina walks in with a tray full of breakfast, coffee, juice, pancakes…..
“Hey babe, I’m so glad you are awake, here is something for you to eat, and then you have to take your medication. I’m going to open the patio door, for fresh air, for you to smell the ocean.”
