Tina was rushing about in the lounge. Bette was still half asleep and was not registering what was going on.
”Baby it’s 6am why are you rushing around like a maniac?”
”I have a huge video shoot today and if I’m late my staff will kill me because I spend half my day shouting at them for being sloppy.”
”What video shoot are we talking about?”
”It’s an interview with Shay Cairns on Day Today; I promised Kelly there would be no screw ups.”
”Okay I’m going back to bed, stressy wife at 6am doesn’t work for me”
”Love you okay bye” Tina said kissing Bette lifting her keys and running out the door

Tina ran through the studio and straight to her office, she got organised before heading down onto the set.
”Tina hi, this is Shay Cairns” Kelly introduced them
”I’ve heard a lot about you nice to finally meet you” Tina said shaking his hand
”Likewise”
”I’ll leave you two to talk and get to know each other, was Jess up when you left?”
”Are you being serious? Jess was wasted last night she won’t be awake till midday”
”She’ll be missing Lisa and Jace”
”They only left last night, besides it’s only two weeks” Tina smiled
”Your Jess’s mum?” Shay asked
”I am that” Tina smiled
”I’m so excited to be working with her tomorrow; she’s got an incredible voice”
”Yeah she does” Tina smiled

Carmen walked into the building
”Hey sweetie are you okay?”
”Carmen hi, I’ve been meaning to catch up with you” Shay smiled
”You two know each other?” Tina asked confused
”We went to NYU together” Shay explained ”Wait how do you know each other I thought you gave up music and went into the police?”
”I did, Tina is my fiancee’s Mum”
”You’re engaged?” Shay asked ”When did this happen, I thought your bitch of an ex put you of girls?”
Carmen rubbed her head ”Shay can we just talk for a second please”
Tina looked at Carmen, making her slightly nervous.
”I’ll leave you too it” Tina said ”Come and speak to me in my office when you’re done Carmen”

”I can’t believe you’re engaged”
”I can’t believe you’re here in LA working with my mother in law and fiancee”
”Jess is your fiancee?”
”Yes and you just called her a bitch to her Mum”
”Jess is the ex? Oh my god this is not happening” Shay said ”Are you serious?”
”Yes and she cannot find out about us at all!” Carmen stated
”She doesn’t know you were with someone in uni does she?” Shay asked
”No and she would flip if she found out it was a guy”
”My Career is ruined now officially. Jess was my big chance to help boost me, Kelly said…fucking hell Carmen, why did it have to be Jess!”
”I didn’t expect you to fucking show up here let alone work with Jess, didn’t you read magazines, did you not know who she was. When Kelly said Jess did you not click?”
”I didn’t know your ex’s name I just knew she was a bitch and I hated her, I thought you and me actually had a shot”
”No what happened in Uni was drunking sex nothing more!” Carmen explained ”I thought you were clear on that”
”Didn’t stop me wanting more”
”Just don’t say anything to Jess. I’m begging you!” Carmen pleaded
”Fine okay” Shay said ”Can I at least have a hug I’ve not seen you in 2 years”
Carmen hugged him ”I’m glad you’re doing well and I wish you all the best”
