    “Baby, you need to sleep tonight.  I’m not going to be running anywhere, except into your arms.”

     

    “Good answer, good answer.” Bette said as she yawned.

     

    “Let’s sleep now.  I love you.  Have sweet dreams.”

     

    “I don’t need to have sweet dreams, my dream already came true.  I love you sweetheart.  Good night.”

     

    They both slept the night through, wrapped in the arms of the love of their life.

     

     

     

     

    Bette woke early and opened her eyes to find she was spooned against Tina with her arm around Tina’s waist.  Her first thought was please tell me this is real and I’m not dreaming.  She closed her eyes and opened them again slowly.  Tina was still right there in front of her and Bette’s smile took up her whole face.  She propped herself up on her other arm and studied the beauty in front of her.  Tina stirred a little and as she did, Bette tightened her arm around her and pulled her closer.  In her half conscious, Tina took Bette’s arm and interlaced their fingers.  She brought Bette’s arm up to her bosom and snuggled against it.  Bette smiled more at that action and laid her head back on the pillow, breathing in the essence of Tina.

     

    Tina woke a little later, happy to find herself being spooned by Bette.  She wanted to look at Bette, so she began to try to turn around slowly.  “Good morning beautiful” Bette told her as she was barely moving.  Tina now turned fully and looked at Bette.

     

    “Good morning to you too” she said as she leaned in for their first kiss of the day.

     

    “Sleep ok?” Bette really wanted to know.

     

    “Wonderful.  You?”

     

    “Never better” Bette answered her.

     

    “You didn’t go run this morning?”

     

    “No.  I could not bring myself to leave you.  And I didn’t want you to wake up alone this morning.”

     

    “Thank you.  I’m so glad you stayed.  It felt so incredible to wake up in your arms” Tina told her.

     

    “I know, I feel exactly the same way.  If I didn’t know how important it was for you to get back and go to work, I’d keep you right here.  In bed with me, all day.”

I thought about getting a piece of cake but this chapter was packed so full of sugar I don’t need one….lol They are moving kinda fast and Tina already has a key…I hope Bette dosen’t start going over old wanted posters and come across Tina’s mugshot. WANTED FOR PRETENDING TO BE A STRANDED MOTORIST AND KILLING PASSERBYS WHO STOP TO HELP….lol I like this story please post soon!

    7. Short and sweet! I think you should edit this to include actual quotes from her workout partners, teasing Bette after she got off the phone, ie: Caldwell: “Sweetness. I love you baby. Mwah, mwah”, etc. …Give us a lil’ somethin’ somethin’ extra to read. Thanks!

    15. Great and very sweet story and I really like the tempo you’re posting in :o)) But one thing thought, Bette says “I love you.” and Tina answer “Are you hungry?”…..what a mood killer LOL.
