    Chapter 25

Spencer and Ashley accomplished making themselves completely inebriated by the time 10 o’clock came rolling around. They’d immigrated to Ashley bedroom and started playing video games. Ashley pulled out her old school Nintendo and Mario Bros. games and the girls began to play. Spencer was watching Ashley amusingly as she would miss a jump or fall off her Yoshi she would throw the paddle, pick it up, and start playing again after spouting off some kind of vulgarity. It made Spencer laugh, Ashley was obviously short tempered, which off-set her usually level-headedness. She couldn’t help but try to compare them, and find things that would make them fit like a puzzle piece. Suddenly she felt a push on her shoulder snapping her out of her daydream as she pretended to gaze interestedly at the screen.

    “Hey it’s your turn.”

    “Oh thanks.”

She took the paddle. Woops, dead.

“Man Spence you don’t like video game much do you? I love them.”

    Another point.

“Uhm, not really. I like listening to music, and painting.”

    Ashley rolled her eyes.

    “Oh mom’ll love that.”

    “What do you mean?”

“My mom owns her own gallery. Many actually.”

    “Oh.”

    Something sparked in Spencer’s mind.

“Oh God yes, how could I forget.”

    Ashley shrugged her shoulders.

“I dunno. So do you want to send the two douche bags home, and get something cooking.”

Ashley wiggled her eye brows. Spencer felt a blush spread across her face. Was she that obvious?

    “What are you talking about?”

Ashley spoke sarcastically in a mental retarded voice.

    “Are…you…hungry?”

    Spencer furrowed her eye brows.

    “For what?”

“I don’t know. Whatever we can get heated up.”

Spencer’s blush grew. Was this some kind of ‘beat around the bush’ sex talk? Was she missing something? Fuck!, she thought to herself.

    “Alright.”

Ashley smiled at Spencer. It was then that Spencer realized. Ashley knew how she was feeling, she wasn’t dumb like every boy, but was extremely intuitive to what was going on, but she enjoyed toying with her. Ashley rolled her eyes, pulled herself off the mushroom chair she’d been sitting in, and followed Ashley out into the living room.
