    They had gone back to work and it had been reality check for them both it was hard to keep up with what they had in Mexico. And they had not gotten to spend the time together that they had wanted.. they both knew when they got home things would change some but not this

    They had gone back to work and it had been reality check for them both it was hard to keep up with what they had in Mexico. And they had not gotten to spend the time together that they had wanted.. they both knew when they got home things would change some but not this much.. they had made love one time in the past couple weeks with the overload of work they had  when they arrived back to their office’s with emails, phone messages, meeting, Tina training her new assistant seem to over whelm them both. Their schedules where off at the moment till they get caught up and under control. But Bette had personal finances meetings and luncheons she had to attend to before tax time and quarterly decisions to make with her Finance adviser as well. This was taking up all their newly engaged loving time. and was beginning to take its toll on the both of them.

    They knew it would not be like this for every though. It just happen to be the beginning of a new financial year and they had been gone over two weeks a lot can pile up in that amount of time. so Tina suggested they go out one evening for drinks and dancing just to relax and find themselves again.. Bette had been coming home hours after Tina and Tina most times was up before Bette just missing each other. So Bette pushed some meetings around to get off work a little early to go out with Tina needing this time as much as her.

    While there Bette took some time to talk with Shane outside after Bette had seen her step outside. Hey you, what are you doing out here? Bette asks

    It’s to fuckin hot in there, I needed a breather and a smoke rising her lite cigarette for Bette to see. Shane responses. What about you what brings you out here have you even danced yet?

    No, not yet we just got here and I was on my way to get first round of drinks when I saw you come out, just thought I would catch up with you, haven’t seen you since the engagement party. How you doing?

    Shane takes another drag of her cigarette. I’m ok. why don’t I seem ok?

    6. Oh wow. Tina got some making up to do. Why rush out the club? If that is your woman…go get your woman. Don’t let someone be touching her and you don’t really know what’s going on so you rush out. FOH! Thanks for posting.

      Tina seems to be very quick to jump to her own conclusions.

      Fight for her Tina! And make sure you trust Bette before you do that, earn that ring back!

    8. Great chapter, that Kennard temper better slow down. If Tina was that concerned about what was going on between Bette and Shy she should have walked over to see what they were saying. I mean does she really believe Bette would be getting close to someone else right out in public where she knew Tina could see her, she better get her head out of her ass and think about what she is about to lose if she is going to keeps letting that temper of hers flair out of control.

    10. I understand Tina, Bette scene with her ex overcame her.
      Promises are good, but actions are what count.
      Bette should take the place of Tina, or think how deep must have hurt her,
      that Tina decide to remove the ring.

      • I totally agree with you. Bette should have told Shy keep her hands to herself. Tina had every right to have that reaction, well maybe not exactly, maybe she should have walked over to them. Love this story.

Thank you for seeing beyond and more into it. .There is always two sides, the act and the reaction.
