    Ashley and Spencer meet…

    Ashley walked swiftly across the college green to where her boyfriend, Glen, was waiting impatiently.

    “Took long enough Ashley,” he said with a sigh before grabbing her hand and beginning to walk. “We’re going to be late.”

    “Glen it’s only ten past,” Ashley muttered. She hated it when he was grumpy like this for no apparent reason what so ever. “And I told you this morning that I may be held back by Gardner. He wants me to cover the festival next month by the way.”

    Glen nodded absentmindedly, not really focusing on his girlfriend’s words. He only turned around to face her when he realised that Ashley had stopped walking. By the look on her face it was obvious that she was clearly unimpressed, and Glen walked back over to her slowly, wrapping his arms around her waist.

    “I’m sorry Hun,” he murmured slyly before slowly kissing her on the lips. “That’s great news, really. I’m just a little stressed out about tomorrow, that’s all.”

    “Glen it will be fine. I’m meeting your family, it isn’t that big of a deal,” Ashley replied confidently, although secretly a little hurt that Glen would worry so much about how his parents would react.

    “I know,” Glen said, once again pushing himself onto Ashley’s lips, a little sloppier than Ashley would have minded. “Ok, well let’s go. We need to be at the airport in two hours.”

     

     

    “Ok so when we get there, I think it’d probably be best if you called my mom and dad Mr and Mrs Carlin at first,” Glen explained for the fiftieth time as he guided the taxi through his old neighbourhood. “Oh and we haven’t slept together or anything like that… just keep it low down. Oh an-“

    “Glen!” Ashley couldn’t hold in the frustration she was feeling towards her boyfriend much longer. “I know! It’s fine. I’ll be the polite little girl who only speaks when spoken to. I get it.”

    “Ok great,” Glen replied in a relieved tone. “I’m sure they’ll love you.”

    “Yeah I’m sure,” Ashley mumbled to herself, before looking out of her window for any distraction that would keep her from strangling Glen right there. “Is it just your mom and dad we’re meeting?”

And it cracked me up that Paula insisted on Ashley sleeping on Spencer’s room, oh if she only knew. You need to update. This is very interesting and is refresing to see Ashley bieng bi… sort of.
