    Spencer sighed in relief as she and Sarah approached the house. Opening up the back door, Sarah ushered her into the kitchen where four different pies sat cooling on the counter top.

    “Mm… these smell good. Did you make them?” Sarah questioned, poking a finger towards the center of one of the pies.

    Spencer laughed and smacked at her hand. “No touching!”

    She went around the island in the middle of the kitchen and opened up a cupboard.

    “Besides, if I had made them, they’d probably be on fire. You know, Cajun Pie!” She removed a stack of plates and handed them to Sarah. “I’m not really much for the cooking.”

    Sarah smiled indulgently and reached a hand towards hers.

    Spencer flinched back abruptly and headed for the silverware drawer. Non-plussed, Sarah followed her around the kitchen.
    “Spencer,” She started, blocking the blonde in next to the sink with her body. “I was wondering how you felt about…”

    Clearing her throat, Sarah tried again. “Umm… how do you feel about… Miniature Golf?”

    Completely confused, Spencer started to reply when she heard Ashley’s voice.

    “Spencer HATES Miniature Golf. Ever since that time she threw up in the fake pirate’s moat, she’s refused to go.” She crossed the room and shrugged past Sarah to stand next to Spencer.

    Spencer scowled up at her. “I do not hate miniature golf!” Spencer pushed her way past both of them and began to slice the pies with a large butcher knife. “And by the way, I only threw up because you and Kyla  rolled me down that huge hill on the last hole. I’ve never been so dizzy in my entire life!”

    Sarah moved back around the counter and helped Spencer to start putting the slices onto plates. “Well, you wouldn’t have to worry about that happening with me. I’m always polite when it comes to putt-putt.”

    Spencer smiled.

    Ashley rolled her eyes.

    “So would you like to go with me tomorrow night?” Sarah asked.

    “Go where?” Interrupted Madison, who’d just entered the room. She nuzzled herself into Ashley’s side.

    Spencer frowned menacingly in Ashley’s direction and turned to Sarah. “I’d love to go miniature golfing with you tomorrow night.”

    Ashley scowled and clenched her fists. “I don’t think-“

    “Ooh  Lee, take me miniature golfing tomorrow! It’d be so much FUN.” Madison gushed, squeezing her arm.

    1. Ashley and Spencer totally crack me up. The way they are constantly doing things to make each other jealous. Yet it’s obvious that they are VERY attracted to each other. I thought it was sweet how possessive Ashley is of Spencer. Great update, PMS!
