Damned Coleman Alt, pt. 1: Of dalliances and heartbreaks.

Alice, who came out publicly as a couple with Dana in 2016 after decades of friendship, expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans and friends alike. ”Dana was a beautiful soul, and we were lucky to have her in our lives. We hope that this auction will make a difference and bring us one step closer to finding a cure for this terrible disease.”

The group encourages fans to participate in the auction and help support cancer research. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to organizations working towards finding a cure.

Unlike most of the public, Alice Pieszecki didn’t have to research the lives of Bette Porter and Tina Kennard. At least not the Hollywood version of their lives. Not because she was ignorant of their experiences but rather because she had lived through most of them.

Alice, Shane, Dana, and eventually Helena and Kit had shared the couple’s joys and sorrows almost since the beginning, supporting them through the hard times and celebrating each of their successes. They all loved each other deeply and with a brand of loyalty that was nearly impossible to explain. Their group had always been tight-knit and had even been perceived as exclusionary, but such was the life of the marginalized; you couldn’t freely be yourself without checking your surroundings. Not during those years. Certainly not if you want to get anywhere in your career.

It could be a lonely existence, and because of that, she would be forever grateful for every one of the women she was lucky enough to call friends, to call family.

They had been her rock. Her salvation. Not that she would ever tell them.

When Alice’s world was turned upside down by the unbearable loss of Dana, Bette and Tina opened the doors of their home and gave her a safe haven to grieve. When Alice’s career was on the brink of collapse due to poor decisions and an untreated depression after Dana’s passing, they were the ones who reached out and helped her climb out of the hole she was slowly digging for herself.

Their bond had remained unbreakable through it all, and Alice was immensely proud of ( and a little afraid for ) her friends and their decisions. They deserved happiness after all the drama life had thrown at them. And God, between them, they had enough experience to write ten soap operas in a row.

    1. Hey Sof,

You really used all the names of the people who where with Bette & Tina through the years and how i really dislike most of them.

I am proud they want to tell every thing from the beginning and i know Alice will do a good job to write their story.

The raising money for cancer research, a way to bring awareness to this terrible disease and honor and remember Dana, it melts my heart.

Can’t believe we had almost none group scenes with Bette Tina Shane and Alice, it’s a big fat finger from the showrunner to us the fans and them. The totally disrespect she showed, i am glad GQ ended with Tibette married and all the new fanfic from new writers like you.

Did i mentioned that i am in love with your stories?!

      Hope to read more soon!

      • Hey Bibi!

hahaha I did use all the names, I have been binge watching TLW again so I have all the names still fresh in my mind.

I’m really super glad that you are liking the story and that you enjoyed the mention about cancer research.

You are truly the sweetest, thank you so much!

    2. Wow… looks like Bette and Tina were apart over the last 40 years or more than they were together. Or at least they had a lot of other romantic interest. I am another one who has not read The Seven Husbands of …. whomever…. so all of this is new. Thanks for the chapter… hope to see more…
