“Yeah, and now I’m probably going to be stuck with Delia…no offense, boo.”
“Offense fully taken, asshole,” Delia said trying not to let out a smile.
“Look, lets get back to the party. Ben brought a pinata,” Will laughed. “I gotta see you knock that shit down, Tee.”
“Don’t test me…” Tina said while walking towards Will and patting him on the shoulder as Delia followed her from behind.
“Former [yet still technically active because of Ivy] Supervisory Special Agent Christina Kennard…Future Executive Producer for Alphaville, get ready to rummmbbbllleeee” Will shouted while they walked into the crowed room.
“First in existence!” Ben shouted as he handed Tina the bat.
“Don’t make me hit you…” Tina winked before getting ready to swing.
Tucked away in the corner of the room sat the Section Chief and the Unit Chief. Both men looked on as the entire floor filled with FBI Agents acted like middle school kids at a party.
“You know, when Tina came into my office to tell me about this job offer from Alphaville, I thought she was joking,” the Unit chief said sipping on his eighth coffee of the day.
“Rob, I wish it was a joke. We’re losing one of our most valuable profilers. I mean hell, we recruited her while she was in her first year of grad school. I mean, she wasn’t even old enough and we were ready to put her through training without any experience.”
The Unit Chief sighed and a small sad smile graced his handsome features. “She had experience…Did you forget who her parents are? It’s just like with Delia. Doesn’t matter…we’re going to miss her, Grayson.”
The Section Chief nodded, “I know she has to do this. Even if we don’t like it. She has to go.”
Rob looked on at his team of 8…soon to be 7. “Yeah… I just hope it all works out.”
Grayson nodded again, “did she turn in her gun and credentials?”
“I wouldn’t accept them”
A smiling Grayson looked at Rob, “so she is still a part of this team, regardless if she is actually here or not.”
Rob look forward, “she is a member of this squad. She always will be. She is keeping her credentials and gun. She is keeping everything. Ivy blocked all of her forms from going through.”
