Friday- Los Angeles: Bette & Tina’s House: 2004
Bette sat silently in the bed; her back radiating a slight burning sensation from Tina’s nails. She looked around the room- seeing pillows on the ground, clothes thrown onto a nearby chair.
She had just watched as the love of her life redress and leave the house.
She didn’t even try and stop her.
Tears rolled down the brunette’s cheeks as she felt her hands start to tremble. Sniffling, Bette got up from the disorganized bed and went towards her closet door.
The closet door where she saw Tina’s reflection staring back at her from the mirror.
Where everything fell apart.
Shaking her head and wiping away the tears that had fallen, she thought of what Tina screamed at her. No contact unless the brunette could promise the blonde that she would never see or hear from the carpenter again.
Could she do that? She didn’t know. She felt so unbelievably broken. Tina was gone- because of her. She had shattered the blonde’s heart- broke every single promise she had made to her.
Bette sighed as she felt more tears fall down her face as she reached for a sweater that was hanging in the closet. Throwing it on- she bent down to quickly throw on a pair of shoes.
Right now? She had nothing to lose.
Picking up her phone from the table off to the side, she quickly scrolled down her contacts until she reached Candace.
“Meet me at the hotel,” Bette said robotically before hanging up the phone. She felt completely empty… she needed to feel something.
She had nothing to lose…right?
Oh… how wrong she was.
Los Angeles: Santa Monica State Beach: 2004
Tina shut her car door; watching her reflection in the glass window as the lights from the parking lot beat down onto her.
Locking her car, she walked up to a bench isolated in the darkness; her fingers silently playing with the band wrapped around her ring finger.
