All Tina could think about was the email. How could she keep this from her friends. She had to get through their lunch together.
‘Deal with it later’ She thought. So she did

Chapter 3 – Lunch Meeting With a Difference

Arriving at The Planet, Bette spotted the girls and waved at them. At the bar was Alice looking very casual with Dana.

‘Look at Alice, She’s managed to ease that closet case out abit more’ said Shane, nodding at Bette to look over

‘Ah I think its Sweet that they have found eachother, Be happy for them’ replied Bette

Tina took her place next to Bette, Who was sitting next to Shane. She was still looking over at the two lovers.

‘I just think Al wanted a celebrity girlfriend’ Laughed Shane

‘You know yourself thats not true Shane, Al really cares for Dana’ Snapped Bette

‘Ah but does Dana really care for Al, thats the question’ said Shane, leaning back in her chair casually sipping her drink

‘You’re jealous Shane’

‘No, Porter, you yourself happen to know that Ive had many, many women who are famous within themsleves for sleeping with me’ Boasted Shane laughing through her drink

‘Tina, everything ok? You look a little pasty’ Shane asked

‘Oh…. oh Im fine just hornmones and pregnancy, You know’ Tina replied looking shyly at Shane

‘You do look a little white baby, is everything alright? Bette asked acting concerned

‘Yes… Bette im ok, just a little tired’ winking at Bette to lighten the atmosphere

Flicking her hair back, Bette looked directly at Tina acting innocently.

‘Why, Tina. I have no idea what you’re talking about’ Holding her hand across her chest acting shocked.

Bette leaned forward to kiss Tina, who smiled at her.

‘You dirty dogs, You got it on, didnt ya? Nice one’ replied Shane

‘Well a woman has gotta do, whats she’s gotta do’ Boasted Bette

‘Oh …. Here come the girls’ said Tina trying to break the conversation

‘Hey guys, How are you both doing? Asked Bette

‘We are doing great, I cant get enough of this gorgeous woman, she is a true *****’ Alice replied and laughed with the girls

‘Al, do you have to say that? Dana asked

‘Yeah i do, Im proud of what i am and who im with’

‘yeah but even so, In front of your friends’ Dana answered

‘look, sweetie, my friends know loads and loads about me, saying that isnt gonna change their opinion of me’

‘I’ll show you who ia  true ***** later’ rubbing her hands high in Alice’s thighs

‘steady on girl, anyone would think you’re completely out of your closet’ Said Shane

‘Time will tell girls’ Dana answered back

The group continued to chat about everyday life and work, alice kept commenting on how good Dana had become and still Tina sat there anxiously as if someone was going to walk though th door….

‘So Tina, any sign of Junior yet? Alice asked

Hastily looking back at the group to answer the question.

No, no sign yet but she keeps kicking me in the ribs, think she’s going to play alot of sports when she’s older’ Laughing as she patted her stomach.

‘Anyway, Where’s your date? thought you were bringing her to meet us all’ asked Tina

‘Nah I blew her out, she wasnt my type really’ answered Shane who was laid back in the chair

‘Didnt realise you had a type, anything and everything wern’t it? Alice said laughing

Bette was taking a sip of her drink and nearly choked in doing so.

‘well you dont sit on the first bike and buy it now do you, Ive just not found mrs right, so mrs right now will do for me’ said Shane

‘Indeed, here! here! toasted Alice

‘Tina you’re abit quiet today? all ok down there’ asked Dana

‘Yeah everthing ok there, just got alot on my mind, Im sorry Im not myself today, I’ll be ok. Helena rang me earlier and it shooked me up abit’

‘Wow! why was that’ Alice asked looking interested

Bette put her arm around Tina and reassurred her that she didnt have to say unless she wanted to.

‘No Bette, these are my friends and you are my wife, you all have the right to know’

Tina began telling them all of how Helena pleaded with her over the phone to take her back, She never dobted her love for Bette but she felt that this might put a strain on their relationship.

‘Well I think we should go see her and give her a piece of our minds, What right has she got to do that after everything she put Tina through’ Alice spoke harshly

‘Its ok baby, we will get through it together’ Bette reassurred Tina that she wasnt going anywhere.

‘you all must think im sily, its just my hormones’

‘No, Tina this woman needs a word with’ Said Shane

‘No… No… Please dont do anything stupid Shane, its my problem, I’ll deal with it.

‘I also recieved an email from Helena’ Said Tina looking down to hide her face.

Bette looked at Tina as she didnt know about this, She couldnt be angry and make a scene in front of her friends as she could see tina was upset.

‘she said if I wasnt to meet her, then she could could jepodise Bette position within company’ Tina spoke softly as she started to cry

‘How the ***** can she do that? I dont think she can, Bette practically runs that place and SHE nuzzled her way in to get at Bette while you and her while still together’ ALice was getting angry.

‘Its ok, we will sort it, Me and Tina will talk later and let you know what we ar going to do about it, For now lets try to get on with the day… yeah?

Bette took control over the matter, she didnt want Tina upset over this, Their baby was nearly due, any extra stress couldnt be good for her or the baby.

All of the friends looked shocked of what had just been said, Poor Tina…. she knew she had to tell them as it concerned Bette too. Her friends were important to her too.

‘Lets order shall we, Im starving’ Said Alice looking for a waiter to order from

‘Always thinking of your stomach Al, FOOD FOOD FOOD, Said Dana

As they were all eating, Tina still couldnt keep her mind off Helena, Was it wrong to think of her or right to do so, Bette’s job was on the line but she wouldnt be held to blackmail…. she would confront her…..
