    Bette’s POV I slowly open my eyes and focus on the most beautiful sight…I smile as I see her hazel eyes staring at me and the most gorgeous smile I think I have ever seen “Good morning” she says reaching up and pushing a strand of hair away from my face “Good morning beautiful” I

    Bette’s POV

    I slowly open my eyes and focus on the most beautiful sight…I smile as I see her hazel eyes staring at me and the most gorgeous smile I think I have ever seen

    “Good morning” she says reaching up and pushing a strand of hair away from my face

    “Good morning beautiful” I say groggily as I snuggle up in the crook of her neck.  My arm draped over her stomach.  She strokes my hair with her hand..I close my eyes and sigh..I’m so happy right now

    “Did you sleep well?” She asks and I smile nuzzling my head in her neck.

    “I sure did” I say and feel her kiss the top of my head

    “Good because I think I got the best sleep I have ever had knowing you were here beside me” she says and looks at me smiling.

    I inwardly sigh at her words.  Last night was so perfect.  For our first time I wasn’t intending to do that with her in the shower but I couldn’t help myself and apparently neither could she and it was beyond anything I had ever felt before or even imagined.  I know I am falling for her.  At least I think I am because all I want is to be with her.  She takes me out of my thoughts as I hear her speak

    “Bette?…What are we doing here?” She says in an exasperated tone like she is unsure and I didn’t like the way it sounded

    “What do you mean?” I reply afraid of her answer as I tense up

    I hear a sigh and I’m very nervous until I feel her pull me closer

    “Why are we doing this?..The contract?..Why should we have one at all?”

    Now I’m totally confused.  I have to look at her so I lift my head and turn on my side and she turns on her side to face me

    “What are you saying?” I ask her pointedly looking her straight in the eyes “You don’t want to be exclusive?” I ask

    “Yes Bette of course I do but I don’t want to do it this way…..After last night…..What happened between us in the shower and just having you here and waking up with me it made me feel like we are building something here”

    2. Glad to see they got rid of the contract… interested in seeing how this is going to work. Harriet Keppinger is not going to be some easy to get rid of. Harriet’s son is about to announce his engagement to one of Bette’s sisters. So there will be a familial relationship. I don’t see it working out as well as the relationship with Barbara is working out. The relationships in this story are very complex…. I think that is what interest me the most…. Keep going….

      SheBitch Harriet gonna pull Tina’s chain!!! And Tina will really have to her best to nvigate that shark-infested swamp. One wrong move and Bette could be “dinner” bc of Bette’s encounters w/Ol Harr AND also Bette’s sister (Rachel) gettin’ serious w/BabyBoi Tom right?

    5. Welcome back, and great chapter. This Kleppinger woman is some piece of work. She has no idea if Tina and Bette had a business relationship or if they just met and decided to date. It doesn’t matter which it is to her though she will do anything to make trouble for Tina And since she. a married woman no less, wants Bette she will stop at nothing to get at her even using her sister’s relationship with her son to blackmail . I hope the sister is loyal to her family and even though she loves this guy will side with Bett if it comes down to it. Bette and Tina need to talk very seriously about old Kleppinger and try to stay two or three steps ahead of her. Communication and understanding is the key to keeping their relationship together. It will be hard but worth it in the end. I know it would be wrong but maybe Bette can get copies of contracts where dragon lady has used the services of the sugar babies to keep her out of their business. I can’t wait for the next chapter. Post as soon as you can.
