Tina isn’t impetuous at all, the longer she takes, more ideas she can come up.
Tina checks her surrounding, “The Golden Circle” is in the front of the cafeteria, piling up tables and chairs to make the place like a courtroom. Adele, of course, sitting in the middle, with Kelly and Bette standing on both aside, Alice stands behind Bette, looks like Adele had warned her not to make a sound.
But she doesn’t see Shane.
“Well, well, well, look who we got here?” Adele smirks, she crosses her arms in front of her chest. “Welcome, the mighty Tina Kennard.”
“Where is Shane?” Tina asks calmly, wasting no time.
“Oh, you mean the tomboy like you?” Adele says innocently, Tina wants to vomit just looking at those face.
Adele waves her hand, several boys push a body to the front. Shane’s face appears, Tina clenches her jaws, taking multiple deep breathes to hold her anger.
Shane’s mouth is being taped, there are bruises on her cheek, eyes, and lips, she can merely open her right eyes, but in her other eyes, she shows no fear to them, just like Tina.
“Let go of her.” Tina says coldly, she can see Shane wants to escape but being pulled back by Adele’s follower.
Tina’s fists hold tightly, she is so ready to get to a fight.
“Come on, why being so serious, we’re not the bad guys, we just want some explanation that’s all.”
Tina’s eyes meet Bette’s, Bette’s has no facial appearance on her face, but Tina sees her eyes shine with cold and distance, which make Tina more nervous than before, her hair is standing, her nerve is well-prepared, she doubts that there is someone care.
“I don’t need to explain anything.”
“I disagree with that.” Adele shakes her head.
Tina is irritating.
“What do you want?”
“You know exactly what I want.”
“Enlighten me then.” Tina answers in a monotone.
“Very well.” Adele nod in agreement. “Where do I start…”
Adele taps her chin, pretending that she’s thinking.
“You see, ever since middle school, I’d never seen a person so strong, so tough, so…arrogant and so good at fighting, almost undefeated. Like a heroine, I must say, no one here in the room has the gut to stand up facing me, and it’s boring.”
