was heartened to see PRIDE colors blazing in US embassies located in various countries I’ve been to this month. For those that didn’t have those colors lighting up the sky, there were huge “PRIDE” flags waving from courtyard flagpoles or rooftops — clear messages of support during PRIDE month to the global queer+ community. IDK if that is a surprising State department policy, given the current overall weirdness, or if some brave Ambassadors have decided to do this on their own. Either way — don’t you think this is awesome?
