    How the hell does Spencer keep getting in????

     

    All Spencer did was shake her head.

     

    So Ashley lowered her head most of the inch down. Now her lips were mere millimeters from Spencer’s. She could feel the sweet soft breath of her companion against her own soft lips and swallowed again. She could feel a droplet of sweat trickle down her back. It wasn’t from the sun, it was pure Spencer. So close, so good, so easy to taste right here, right now.

     

    “Say Uncle.”

     

    The whisper brushed across Spencer’s cupid bow lips and was almost a soft kiss in its own right. There were seconds that lasted years, half seconds that lasted decades. Then Spencer whispered back…

     

    “Uncle.”

     

    They were suspended in time, and then the word registered on Ashley’s brain. Releasing Spencer’s wrists she hauled herself off the girl and stared down at her. Then she turned and ran, plunging into the sea, praying that it was cold enough to cool her down. It didn’t really work, but it was better than nothing.

     

    It did make for a relatively uncomfortable remainder of the afternoon. Neither of them could find words to say, and everything said seemed to be made of pure double entendre. They’d rejoined

     

    “Can I cream you?” asked Spencer, offering the sunscreen and then blushing furiously at her words.

     

    “Hot enough for you” were Aiden’s stupid words, mostly directed bitterly at Ashley. In reality, he had no idea.

     

    “Finish you off?” Ashley offered mere moments after Spencer’s cream Freudian slip. She was simply offering to rub the remainder of the sunscreen into the girl’s back where she couldn’t reach, but of course, it didn’t come out that way. It was her turn to blush.

     

    So they spent the rest of the afternoon mostly in silence. It just seemed safer that way. The most that Spencer uttered for the remainder of the day was in return to some rather pithy comments from what Ashley wanted to refer to as the ‘peanut gallery’. At least Aiden kept his mouth shut.

     

    “Come play volleyball with us Spencer” Glen had pleaded. She’d turned him down. “Why not?” He’d whined. “Stop hanging around with this freak lezzo and come have some fun.”

    2. My mouth dropped when I read smurfturkey’s prediction. I think its kinda soon to tell but, still……I don’t think I want Spencer to be pregnant. Because in all reality, Ashley should RUN! (or maybe that’s just something I would do….lol even though its not funny) That girl has issues like I don’t know what!

She tried not to indent the edges, so it looked like only one person had come across the sand.” sigh. when i read that it just reminds me of soppy sentimental chinese/korean drama series. can’t remember the significance of it but i bet it was something incredibly romantic bout it. love this sweet update!!! :)
