Cameron MacElvee (a.k.a. BenMac) was a trailblazer in terms of turning LesFan stories into Goldie Awards. By the Dark of Her Eyes (known as The Groves: A Ghost Story on LesFan) was a winner in 2017 and The Smell of Rain was a finalist in 2019, proof that LesFan is home to outstanding stories and writing.
There is more good news for BenMac fans. Cam and Stacy have agreed to collaborate on rewriting The Eternal Rocks Beneath, a LesFan favorite. They will start the preliminary work in July to take the story out of the L Word fandom and prepare it for publication as a literary fiction series, likely into three books. The entire project could to take up to two years to complete, considering their other work and writing commitments. Readers can find a review Stacy did of The Eternal Rocks Beneath at The Lesbian Review.
Stacy has kept busy writing. She has nine published books and another five scheduled for release by the end of 2023. She is putting the final touches on her fifteenth book, which will release in mid-2024. Besides the Eternal Rocks Series with Cam, she’ll take this summer to plan her next eight books, including a new thriller series and continuations of her existing series.
