    Ashley we have to talk.

    Spencer’s words echoed inside of Ashley’s head. Two years…It had been two years? With her brain working over time she began to breathe rapidly. She stared at Spencer who was trying to calm her down by patting her arm but Ashley wrenched away. The heart monitor she was hooked up to began to beep shrilly and rapidly. Black dots broke out in front of her eyes and the whole room began to spin. The two doctors from before burst into the room and shoved Spencer aside.

               

     

     

     

     

     

    “BP doubled, dose her quick!” Ashley felt her world slipping away as she faded back into the blackness. When she opened her eyes, she saw Spencer curled up on the couch. It was obvious the girl had not slept or eaten, she had dark circles under her eyes and judging from the puffiness she had also been crying.

               

     

     

     

     

    “Hey,” Spencer said quietly fiddling with a strand of her hair. Ashley looked away and shook her head slightly.

               

     

     

     

     

    “So did I magically sleep away another two years of my life?” She asked petulantly. Spencer pursed her lips together and walked over to her sitting on the edge of the bed.

               

     

     

     

     

    “You have a right to be freaked out, it’s a scary thought missing that much of your life,” Spencer said. Ashley crossed her arms over her chest and looked indignantly at her.

               

     

     

     

     

    “I’m not freaked out,” she said stubbornly. Spencer laughed a little and looked at her. Ashley felt the anxiety melt away when she saw those baby blues.

               

     

     

     

     

    “So how’s school?” Spencer fidgeted and kept twisting the same strand of hair around her finger.

               

     

     

     

     

    “School’s school. I changed my major, after you had the accident I kept doing my journalism stuff, but all the stories were so dry. So I changed last year to education, I want to teach a literature class,” Spencer said proudly.

               

     

     

     

     

    “Ew, reading.” Ashley said wrinkling up her nose.

I hope this feeling is wrong. well i’m off to the next post to figure it out.
