"Excuse me." Paula looked at Glen not understanding what he meant by that.

"I said no, your not going to keep them apart can’t you see that? JESUS MOM. They are fighting to be together not only by putting up with all the people they have to but they are literally fighting now to be together." Glen turned to Ashley and Spencer with the most sincere look on his face either one of them had ever seen.

"Ash….anyone willing to put themselves in danger to protect my sister is good enough for her in my book. I….I….I’m sorry." Spencer mouthed thank you to her brother and he looked back at his mom who looked like she wanted to kill him now.

"Mom look at them." Clay finally found his voice knowing he was the only one who was behind them the whole time. "They love eachother." Both Clay and Glen moved closer to Spencer and Ashley and it was clear this was a sign that they were both on their sides.

Paula was livid she almost had fire coming out of her nose as she breathed not only did they trick her by Ashley being here all this time but now her family was turning against her. So when Arthur let her go and walked to Spencer and Ashley to give them both a hug and tell them he was sorry for not protecting them, she lost it again. She charged at Ashley but their was no way she was going to get through because she would have had to get through Glen, Clay, Arthur, and Spencer before she got to Ashley who was now pushed behind the 4 of them.

Spencer took the risk and stepped out from the men in her family. "Mom, I love her, its not going to change and if you have learned anything today it should have been that Ashley loves me too."

"Spencer its not right." Paula was still angry but she was ashamed that she had gone after Spencer and not Ashley. "You are going to have to stay her until…." Arthur cut in. "NO SHE ISN’T I shouldn’t have let you send her here to begin with my first job is to protect my children not save my marriage."
