    Uhm . . . basically . . . stuff happens. Ashley’s kinda clingy, has some flash backs and comes to a decision that I think is just . . . it done in self-defense, I’ll say that.

    Spencer smiled and glanced over at a sleeping Ashley. The weekend had lasted for a lifetime. Two days and throughout the whole time sex had been the predominate activity; that and taking long hot showers together. Just the thought of the steam rolling off Ashley’s skin made Spencer shiver. Spencer hauled herself up and glanced around for her clothes. No matter how much she wanted the weekend away from reality to last, she had to get back. Real life was calling her.

     

    Things were bound to get complicated soon and the longer she ignored the outside world the more things she would have to deal with when she re-emerged onto the scene. She groaned softly just thinking about what she would have to tell Sam.

     

    Apparently the noise made Ashley wake up because within seconds of Spencer making it, soft tanned arms snaked their way around Spencer’s waist. She smirked and turned in Ashley’s grip to get a better look at the brunette. Ashley tightened her grip and pulled Spencer into her. The girls spent a few moments like that, their bodies pressed into one another, until Spencer broke the tension that was forming by placing a gentle kiss on Ashley’s lips. Neither of them were use to looking at someone that way, not saying a word, and yet have everything fall into place.

     

    Ashley took the kiss as an invitation and pushed Spencer back onto the bed. Spencer smiled back into the kiss. Maybe one last round before she left.

    Ashley was asleep again and Spencer tenderly pushed a strand of brown hair behind one of her ears. Now she really had to get going. It was 1:03 pm and at any moment now Ashley would be up, trying to convince Spencer to stay. Spencer gathered up her clothes and snuck out of the room and into the bathroom down the hall. Spencer silently laughed at how Ashley was such a deep sleeper, unless it came to Spencer making noises on her way out. Earlier yesterday Spencer had been banging around in the kitchen looking for something to eat and Ashley didn’t wake once, even when she dropped a pot on her toe and let out a low scream. But later on after that Spencer had just slipped out of Ashley’s bedroom and the door creaked. In a flash Ashley was there seductively whispering in Spencer’s ear.
