    As Rose and Vanessa walked down the beach, there was an awkward silence. It had only been about a week since Vanessa had returned home. ”You know, I was scared and worried about you, right,” Rose stated with a serious tone. ”I know, I am sorry. I just..I’ve been through a lot. But, it sounds

    As Rose and Vanessa walked down the beach, there was an awkward silence. It had only been about a week since Vanessa had returned home.

    ”You know, I was scared and worried about you, right,” Rose stated with a serious tone.

    ”I know, I am sorry. I just..I’ve been through a lot. But, it sounds like my parents are starting to lighten up a little bit,” Vanessa replies with a smile.

    Slowly without hesitation, they hold each other’s hands firmly and tightly. After a few moments of walking down the beach, Rose stops, grabbing Vanessa’s other hand.

    ”What’s wrong, Rose,” Vanessa questions Rose.

    ”I love you, Vanessa.”

    Vanessa remains speechless as she processes the words. She then replies with a smile and laughter as tears roll down her cheeks.

    ”I love you too, Rose. No one can pull us apart ever again. Whether it be now, or a thousand years.”

    The two then share a passionate kiss.

    ”You aren’t mad at me then? I mean about Clare,” Rose says.

    ”Of course, I am. I thought I was going to be with you forever, but that isn’t your fault I guess. But, I knew that it was going to be me the whole time. That is why I never stopped loving you,” Vanessa embraces Rose and closes her eyes, savoring the moment.
