South Of Nowhere – 2.12 – Things Meant To Be
They drove in silence, soft pop music playing in the MP3 player of the SUV, some song by Aly & AJ called Rush drifted through the speakers. Spencer tentatively reached over and took Ashley’s hand from the steering wheel. Ashley looked stunned, watching Spencer wrap her fingers around her own. A surreal feeling swept over the usually jaded LA borne girl.
“Are you sure about this?” Whispered Ashley in a concerned tone. Spencer eased Ashley’s hand towards her, kissing Ashley’s fingertips, moistening the tips with her soft tongue. “…Mmmmmm…” Ashley out in a hot gasp, ok Spencer was much to good a this.
“Are going to keep asking me that?” Spencer said, her voice deep, leaning towards Ashley, Spencer’s lips finding Ashley’s ear.
“No. But you gotta stop doing that.” Ashley pleaded, her dark eyes meeting Spencer’s, who gave her an odd look.
“Why?” Spencer asked, the hot whisper coming from her lips, which were just a breath away the edge of Ashley’s ear.
“Cuz you are gonna make me wreck, and then we’ll never get to do what you are promising to do…,” the serious tone of voice made Spencer giggle.
“Ok. I guess I can wait five more minutes.” Spencer pushed back into her seat, watching Ashley drive with a serious intensity. She didn’t let go of Ashley’s hand however. It dawned on Spencer, that maybe Ashley was actually nervous about this. Why would she be? Ashley’d had sex before, it wasn’t as if she was a virgin.
Pulling into the driveway of Ashley’s house, Spencer looked at her shyly. “Are you…” Ashley looked over at Spencer, whose head was cocked to one side, “nervous?”
“Why do you ask…?” Ash answered and Spencer giggled.
“Cuz I am!” Spencer exited the car quickly and Ashley jumped out, catching her and hugging her, pulling her close and kissing her lips gently.
“I am too. Kinna, I mean, I’ve done this before but…”
“But?” Spencer asked, squinting against the hot LA sun.
“Never with someone who I really… you know?” Ashley tried to find the words, but was unable to find just what she meant to say. Spencer batted her dark blue eyes, the sun making her hair shimmer in the early afternoon light. “You’re gonna make me say it, aren’t you?”

What was that talk about you don’t know how to do a sex scene, that was good. Are you really considering a Ash/Paula coupling, I can’t wrap my mind around that one. But that probably won’t stop you from writing it. Good Job. Peace.
Wow, that was hott. I love how you’ve like made this into like a kind of made up season 2 of SON. Jaded, you are an excellent writer, and I have read some of your L Word fanfics too I just only really started to write comments cuz I have more time this semester. And yeah… please don’t kill off either Ash or Spence… ahaha anyone else go for it lol jk. But that was a hott sex scene and I loved what Ash said to Spence…. that was sooooooooooooo cute!
Excellent sex scene and yes Sea is a very good romantic writer but I believe you two very much compare. Thank you for revealing my fantasy of spence and ash together atlast. Excellent….thank you.

Hold on! Seahurst, Jaded, all this talk about killing of main characters is not a very pleasant thought! I loved this chapter, so sweet (and hot) and I just love Asley and Spencer together when it’s written in a good way, and that is what you always manage Jaded (no matter th couples *grumble* ) but I STILL don’t like the killing idea… Please don’t kill anyone? But of course, if they are gonna break up the Spashley, then go ahead =) But not one of the main characters! Damn… Now you made me nervous for the update… *sits down in deep, scary thoughts*
