Ben closed his eyes against the tears. He sighed shakily, ‘I’ve waited twelve years.’ Over the last several months he and Paula had become so much closer. The last few days, he had actually begun to allow himself to think of a future together, a future where she would finally be his wife. After medical school they never stopped speaking, sometimes going a year between phone calls. He was always amazed at how much she affected him, just hearing her voice. He listened to her and as the phone calls became more frequent he knew that it was no longer about her not feeling challenged enough. Initially, they both tried to pretend that the attraction was manageable, something they could actually contain. He remembered when she called him and told him that she had finally convinced Arthur to move to LA.
“It will be good for us..I mean me and Arthur. Ben…I don’t want you to get the wrong idea. I mean…I’m still attracted to you…we both know that, but I’m married now. I have a family. I need to know that if I come there, you won’t expect me to do anything that I don’t want to do.”
He felt his chest burning as he remembered his excitement that night, how fast his heart was beating as he replied, “Paula, I promise. I will never make you do anything that you don’t want to do.”
Ben got up slowly and walked over to Paula, leaning as he gently grazed her lips with his own. ‘I love you so much, baby please don’t leave me.’
“Get the fuck away from my wife!”

Glen slowly opened his eyes. He looked over at Clay finally sleeping on the chairs and sighed a little. He closed his eyes again, thoughts wondering. ‘I hope mom is okay.’ He squeezed his eyes closed harder, forcing his mind onto a different topic, wondering back to his earlier conversation with Aiden. He felt awful about the way he had treated him, but he just couldn’t quite believe that Aiden had been so sincere. ‘Why is he doing this?’ He opened his eyes again, checking that Clay was still asleep. He picked up his phone and dialed Aiden’s number.

Oh wow man that’s a lot of drama. I love the little sweet moments with spencer and ashley. Still hoping that Paula will go to jail.
GOD Ben deserves a kick in the balls…what a bastard!! I hope Auther beats the livin’ crap out of him! oOo, loved the lil’ scene between Glen and Aiden…hehe, could there be some intimate feelings between the two…Ashley, please stay strong for Spencer, all you two have really got is each other…OH the drama, I LOVE IT!! hehe
If Arthur doesn’t control himself, he’s really going to end up in jail. Christ. Glen and Aiden…I wonder what will happen. Haha, I hope they hook up. And Ash and Spence are adorable times 10 :)
DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA, sounds alot like my life, lol. Did I sence a little flirting between Aiden and Glen?????? Write more soon, please!?!
ok, first off…wtf i kinda laughed off the “anything” moment with aiden and glen…secondly thank you for showing that beautiful side of ash, but 3rd, please explain why the hell there is so much damn violence in this story?! dont get me wrong i do want ben to get his ass kicked by mr C but ppl only have but so much luck before they get thrown in jail, lol i loved this post…so gimmie more!
