    Spencer baby don’t answer it!

    Ash stop pouting it’s my dad. ‘ I have to answer it”

    “ O c’mon he can talk to your voicemail’ Ashley suggested. “ And besides I wasn’t finished talking to your lips”

    “Ashley even though you look extremely hot like that I have to answer“.”it could be important”!

    “ Okay okay answer if you must.

    Spencer gave Ashley a chaste kiss before flipping her cell phone open and answering hello.

    Hello…..Oh hey dad….oh my gosh is he okay? Yeah sure I’ll be there in 30… Yeah I love you too..

    Noticing the look on Spencer’s face Ashley asked her what was wrong. “ Spencer what’s wrong? Is everything okay?”

    Umm…Glen hurt his knee playing basketball last night and he’s in the hospital.

    Do you mind giving me a ride there?

    Umm yeah sure Spence, just let me grab my keys. Ashley helped Spencer off the bed and headed down the stairs, grabbed her keys from off the counter and headed to the car.

    Spencer might not get along all that well with her brother, but he was family! I would do anything for them.

    As they climbed into Ashley’s car Ashley took a hold of Spencer’s hand, and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

    Listen Spence, I love you so so much and I know your worried about well….us, and what everybody especially your family is going to think.

    Looking into Spencer’s eyes Ashley kissed the hand that she had a hold of, and then kissed each one of her finger tips.

    Spencer I just want you to know that I’ll wait for as long as it takes, and I will be here for you through all this.. I promise.

    Spencer just sat there listening to all of this with tears threatening to spill over. When she tried to speak nothing came out. She decided to cup Ashley’s face and give her a quick, soft but loving kiss. She just hoped that Ashley knew how much that had meant to her.

    With one more squeeze of the hand they were in reverse and headed to see Glen at the hospital.

    Less then 10 minutes They were in the hospital parking lot looking for a parking space. After about two more minutes of searching they finally found one. She pulled in, and turned the ignition off.
