Everything prior to this happens like it did in the movie.
After the sex scene: Mother Emaculata’s office
Mother Emaculata: I’m at a loss for words. How could you let something like this happen?
Simone: I don’t know.
Mother Emaculata: Well, surely there must have been a moment when you thought to yourself, Is this really the right thing to do?
Simone: That would have been every moment. I’m not trying to say what I did was right.
Mother Emaculata: It’s not right!
Simone: I don’t expect you to understand. But, I love her.
Mother Emaculata: How dare you? Annabelle will be removed immediately from your class and your dorm. You are to have no contact with her from here on out. If I see you talking to her you will be dismissed from this school immediately! Now get out of my office!
Simone walks away with her head down. As she walks down the hall she is notices Collins and Kirsten in a corner. She catches a glance at them. They look at her with sensitivity as if everything’s going to be okay. Simone goes into her bedroom. She is feeling shameful and feels like she has let the other girls down. She loves Annabelle, but feels like she should be strong enough to overcome her feelings.
Mother Emaculata: Sister Claire
Sister Claire:Yes, mother?
Mother Emaculata: Get Annabelle Tillman in my office right now please.
Sister Claire: Right away mother
As Annabelle is walking towards Mother Emaculata’s room, Annabelle passes Kat in the hall.
Kat
I’m so sorry Annabelle, I didn’t…..(Annabelle, ignores her and keeps walking towards Mother Emaculata’s room ignoring Kat).
Annabelle enters room, her head is down
Mother Emaculata: Sit down Annabelle
Annabelle sits in the chair
Mother Emaculata: You are being removed from Ms. Bradley’s class and are being transferred to another dorm. You are not to have any contact with Ms. Bradley or I will be forced to call your mother and have you removed from this school! Is that clear?
Annabelle: Yes, Mother Emaculata
Mother Emaculata: Now go pack your bags. I will be at your room in fifteen minutes to walk you to your new dorm.
Annabelle nods and walks away. She enters her dorm room and begins packing her belongings (music is playing). She begins tearing up and starting to cry. She hears someone walking down the hall; she looks up and sees Simone. They made eye contact, but Simone kept walking (Annabelle felt somewhat rejected). Annabelle starts to go to the door and thinks about following Simone, but quickly remembers what Mother Emaculata said to her and goes back in her room to finish packing.
Collins and Kirsten enter the room, before they can say anything…Mother Emaculata enters the room
Mother Emaculata: It’s time to go.
Annabelle hugs Collins and Kirsten and grabs her guitar and suitcase and walks out of the room.
