    It’s Friday the day before graduation Annabelle and Simone have not talked for a whole month. Simone feels so empty inside. She walks to her classroom for the last day of class. She begins to write on the board:
     
     
    “With the chaff, the distractions, and dirty corners of our environments and minds cleared away, we can better see the structure of our lives, the foundations of our support, the bare bones that comprise our true selves, and dedicate ourselves to living a more authentic life”.
     
    Simone: Happy Graduation Everyone! I am so proud of all of you! I will see you all tomorrow!
     
    The class leaves.
    Simone looks around and walks out of the room with her head down.
     
    Nighttime
    Simone is in her room, she is sitting at her table with her hand on her head. She grabs a piece of paper and begins writing a resignation letter.
     
    Cut into Annabelle’s room
    Annabelle is in her room, she is playing with her guitar. She puts her guitar down and begins crying, having felt she has lost Simone forever. Collins and Kirsten enter:
     
    Kirsten: Hi Annabelle, we came to see what you are doing after graduation. We thought we could hang out.
     
    Collins: Yeah, would you like to do something after graduation tomorrow?
     
    Annabelle: I won’t be going
     
    Collins: Are you okay Annabelle? Is it Ms. Bradley?
     
    Annabelle: I don’t want to be a burden or cause anymore problems, I have a taxi coming at 10am to pick me up and take me home.
     
    Kirsten: Are you sure this is what you want to do Annabelle? Everyone is going to ask why you aren’t at graduation?
     
    Annabelle: Just tell them that I left early because I needed to get cigarettes in Thailand.
     
    The girls hug
     
    Annabelle: Have fun tomorrow
     
    Collins: We are going to miss you Annabelle?Bye.
     
    Kirsten:Bye Annabelle
     
    Annabelle:Bye guys
