Bette and Tina 5 year Anniversary in their home


Bette is just coming to work and presses the button on her answering machine. Hi babe come home early tonight Im cookingBye I love you. Bette just smiles as she sits down and starts to work. Suddenly she says to herself its Thursday and we both work today and tomorrow. Whats she doing home when we both left for work together??? Bette calls homeno answer. machine picks up. Calls Tina at work and gets her secretary Diane.Hi Diane its Bette can I please speak to Tina? Sorry Bette but she just went into a meeting and I cant disturb them, but I will tell her you called .Ok thanks..bye. Bette just shrugs her shoulders and goes back to work. Looking at the calendar June 1. Not my birthday or our Wedding Anniversary . Oh well whatever.

Tina is still in her meeting and they are wrapping up. Jeff Im taking a day vacation today and the whole day tomorrow. Sure Tina after what we accomplished this month you deserve it. So Tina finishes up says goodbye to everyone and then sees the note on her desk from Bette. Well I wonder what she wanted smiling.. Walking over to Diane she leans to tell her Do me a favor when Bette calls again just tell her Im still in a meeting and we havent even braked for lunch. Diane has a questionable look on her face and then Tina whispers something in her ear and Diane smiles. So Im off till Monday have a good weekend. Lucky you Tina thinks to herself you dont know the half of it.

Back at Bettes office

She looks at her watch2:30 damm I still have at least 3 hours of work left. Hits the replay button on the machine Hi babe come home early tonight Im cookingBye I love you. Diane tells her they have been in their meeting all day barely breaking for lunch. Ok just tell her Ill see her home thanks.

Finally 4:00 and what does Franklin do call a board meeting. Franklin is talking about something Bette has no idea what the ***** is talking about nor at this point does she care. James will fill her in tomorrow. But then he says something about a 5-year anniversary of some artist and Bette shouts out thats it June 1 Oh my God. They all look at her with a puzzled look on their facesshe sits back down saying Im sorry Im sorry please continue. The meeting is finally over and Franklin says he is taking tomorrow off something about his wifes family reunion. So I will see everyone Monday morning. Bette says to Franklin since its going to be a slow day tomorrow I am also taking the day off. Yeah sure good idea have a good weekend everyone.

So Kennard you thought you could pull a fast one over me. Well 2 can play at this game. First Bette called the florist and ordered flowers and then out the door to her favorite jewelry store The MGM Fine Jewelers. Looking around for the perfect giftfinally she sees something 2 little teddy bears sitting on a swing on the porch of a little house Ill take it .gift wrapped ..then off to the liquor store for a couple bottles of there favorite wines. To the florist picked up the flowers.It was going to be a long weekend. Back in her car and ready to go home.OK Kennard here I come ready or not

At the house

Tina had the table set the candles were lit .the wine was chilled and the house smelled delicious. Tina had cooked one of Bettes favorite meals. Checking her watch it was almost 5:00 Bette should be here any minute. So Tina opened a bottle of wine.poured 2 glasses and was waiting on the couch for Bette.

Now Bette sensed that Tina was waiting to surprise her .so before she got to their driveway she calls Alice..Hey Bette what up??? Listen Al do me a favor and please no questions ok what call Tina at the house make up something to get her to go into our bedroom to look for something. I dont care anything .can you do that for me ..thanks.

Phone ringsShit says Tina. Puts the wine down and answers..Hi Aliceyeah sure its the MGM Fine Jewelers. Alice yes Im sure that the jewelry store Bette always uses.Ok Ill go into the bedroom and look at the name on the boxyeah thats it .hey listen Alice I gotto go Yeah I call you later.

Bette comes into the house puts the flowers on the table.and puts Tinas gift on her plate..sees the wine already opened puts her bottles down ..grabs the 2 glasses and is sitting on the couch waiting for Tina

Shaking her head she is walking back to the living room.stops sees the flowers on the table and then sees Bette waiting on the couch with HER 2 glasses of wine. They both just smile. Bette gives Tina her glass and she sits on Bettes lap they take a drinkput down their glasses and Tina gives Bette a kiss to die for.

So you thought I forgot didnt you???????? How could I forget the happiest day of our lives when we finally moved into this beautiful house and you made it a home for us . Come on babe tell me the truth when did you remember??? Bette flashes that smile at Tina and says WELLLL at about 4:15. she then tells her the story..Tina leans in and pushes Bette down on the couch.So Mrs Kennard are you ready for your appetizer???
