Alice walked through the door with takeout in hand, ready to force feed Tina if need be. Okay, time for some tough love, Alice thought as she knocked on Tinas door. The door opened a bit and Alice couldnt believe it- the bed was made and Tina was not there.
Well, this could be good news and mean she is taking a run or but Alice never finished her thought. She spotted a note on the counter and read it:

Thanks for all your support and love. I decided to go home. I will call you soon.

Alice was ecstatic! Tina went home to try and reconcile with Bette. I knew true love would win out. Although, I hope she makes Bette get on her hands and feet and beg. Alices phone rang.

Hey Al, its Dana. I know we said to meet at 8 but how about I come by your place. Maybe I can help cheer up Tina.

Alice started to laugh.

I do know some magic tricks, Al, Dana started.

No, no. Im not laughing at you coming to cheer up Tina. She went home today. She and Bette are making up.

Wow, that was fast. Maybe we should drop by their place.

Now lets think about this. Two women in love had a fight and now they are making up. Do you really think we should go there tonight? Alice asked not really expecting an answer.

What, do you think we should bring some wine to celebrate? Dana innocently replied.

Dane, how about you come over my place tonight and I can show you what two women do to make up?

Ill be over in an hour, Dana said and hung up.

Alice couldnt wait to talk to Tina and Bette so she quickly dialed their number.

Hello? Bette answered.

Hey you. I heard the great news about you and Tina and couldnt be happier for the two of you, Alice said excitedly.

Alice, what are you talking about? You are happy Tina moved out of our home?

Alice was stunned, Tina, what? I mean she left a note here and I thought

Bette had an urgent tone to her voice, She left you a note? What did it say? Alice, where is Tina?

She just wrote that she was going home. I assumed it meant she was with you, Alice said as the excitement drained from her.

Bette hung the phone up. “She went home? Home to her family? In Connecticut? What have I done?”
