“Ok, babe….I mean Tina….we are all set….we can go and pick up Kit’s truck and go to get your things right now….”
“Ok…..let’s get this show on the road…..Do you think Kit would watch Angel?” she asked
“I am sure of that….she loves to spend anytime she can with Angel…..”
“Alright…” said Tina as she grabbed her things. I took Angelica into my arms, and walked outside to put her in the carseat….. “Set…..girlie….” I said to her…..as I smiled and touched her nose with my finger…..I got into the drivers seat just as Tina was fastening her seatbelt……
30 minutes later, we were in Kit’s truck and heading to Henry’s…..
“Do you still have your key?” I asked……
“Yes……” Tina answered as she rummaged through her pocketbook looking for her set…… “Here they are….”.
The answer was a very nervous one……I caught it after the first word left her lips……..
“Listen Tina, I will never let him hurt you again….you have nothing to worry about……ok? …….Let’s just get your things and leave……if we do it in a timely manner, maybe he won’t even show up…..”
“Ok…fast……it is……” Tina agreed. Knowing that if Henry showed up, it would get bad….she couldn’t fight him…..he was too much for her……and there was a possibility that he would hurt Bette too…..and if that happened she would never be able to forgive herself…. ‘very fast’ she thought to herself….
“We……are……….here……” I said as we entered the driveway…… “God, I always hated heterosexual neighborhoods…”…………
Tina laughed…. “yea, I always hated this neighborhood too……”
I backed the truck up to the door, and stopped the engine….. I knew that this would be hard for Tina, and I also knew that If that asshole showed up……..I was goin to jail…….that I was certain of….so I decided that instead of spending a night in jail with ‘big bertha’ that we would do this quickly and get out of here….
“Go and start getting your stuff together, and I will pack it into the truck……No stopping until we are done. We don’t want to chance him showing up and us still being here…..”
“I agree totally…..” said Tina before she disappeared into the house……
I backed up and leaned against the truck…..taking in a breath of fresh air….ick…..ack……a breath of suburban str8 people air…..pfft…….I walked into the house, and to where the noises were coming from….she stopped at the door……

I agree of course. Once however, even thoug I am not a tibetter, it would be nice to see Tina taking care of herself and the baby she chose to have.. JUST ONCE, instead of eternally being protected and supported, emotionally, physically, financially and every other way. I wish Tina would be an adult…but just my opinion..

Henry was lucky that Bette just cracked him and instead of really whacking him a good one. Bette sure does take care of her own now only if Tina will return to being Bette’s own.

Super-Bette, of course she will take care of everything on her own! good chapter, so glad that Henry got a punch but he deserves more than that
“What I do in the privacy of my home?” Is he crazy? Just because the door is closed dosen’t give him the right to abuse people. He got what he deserved. She just needs to cut her losses she dosen’t need to go back for the rest of that stuff who knows what will happen next time. It’s only material things. When your mouth hurts your whole body feels jacked up so I hope you feel better soon.
It’ a super story. Please write fast the next Capter. I love it if Bette goes in a fight with Henry and Tina finds her way back to her again.
