Tina: Mom I don’t know what to think, its just so strange that in the last 2 weeks they have not met… we have been to their house and they have been here…
Linda: it’s possible it’s all just a coincidence… stranger things have happened… besides you still haven’t given a reason why she would be avoiding Bette…
Tina: well mom I remember a saying grandma would say years ago… “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck… it’s a duck”
Linda: I must be missing something… who do you think she is…

Linda: what… Tina I thought her name was Maxine…
Tina: that means nothing mom… it could be her middle name…
Linda: did you tell Bette about this…
Tina: not in so many words… but I think she is also wondering why she is the only one to not have met her… and mom she looks like Bette…
Linda: Opening night will be very interesting to say the least… I wonder if she will show up
Tina: if she is as close to Patrick and his family as she claims to be… she will be there… granted she will either be hiding or incognito…
Linda: you read to many scripts…
Tina: we will see… anyway Bette is due home any minute…
Linda: then I am leaving… dinner is all set, have a good night…
In walks Bette…
Bette: Hi mom… you’re leaving so soon…
Linda: thought I would get some shopping in while it’s still light outside… and maybe call Frank up to meet me out for dinner… yeah… I think I will… have a good night ladies… see you in the morning…
Linda leaves…
Bette just watches her and as soon as the door closes.
Bette: ok what’s going on…
Tina: why… what’s going on…
Bette: this day just gets crazier… you meet Lexi… I get this feeling she is avoiding me and I have no idea why… then you and James talk in some code… you leave as fast as you got to the CAC.. I come home and mom runs out… WTF…

oh my goodness,I am so thankful that you up dated this story, I saw you leave comments on other peoples, but nonupdates, I was longing. This story is so needed on the site. I know life can get in the way of the writing but I hope we can get regular updates.

Hi Amanda, Great to have a new post from you especially with the wonderful news that Jill is pregnant too. I can’t wait until Tina gets all the trials and hassles with being pregnant from Bette and from Jill. I do think Bette is right in dealing with Lexi as she is at the moment.
