“So what’s this?” Ashley asked brightly. She’d always loved presents. “If it’s lingerie I am totally not waiting to see it on you, this door better have a lock.”
Spencer blushed and told her to open it. Ashley tore into it, paper flying everywhere and reached the inside. She pulled a large photo album out of the box. Ashley flipped it over onto the front and smiled when she saw the title. The Past Two Years. Spencer had made her a scrapbook starting from about two weeks before the accident. Ashley flipped through the pages, scanning the pictures and the articles. She smiled when she came across the article that Spencer had interviewed her for and grinned even wider when she came across the front page Dallas Morning News story. Spencer had written a few paragraphs on every page and as they went through them together, Ashley had to swallow a few lumps in her throat. She had missed so much, there were pictures of Keely growing up and a lot of pictures Spencer, Aiden, Madison and Samantha. She laughed out loud when she saw a picture of Kristen covered in chocolate cake and laughed even harder when she found out Spencer was the one who covered her in it.
Toward the end of the book there was a page on Spencer’s move into a house and how she had three other roommates. Spencer explained slowly that since the accident, she and Aiden and Madison and Sam had grown close and decided to ditch the dorms for their own place. Spencer pulled a box out from behind her back and set it on Ashley’s lap.
“Now what Spence? That was amazing, thank you for doing that,” Ashley said still mystified by the fact that the girl seemed to still care for her.
“It killed me when they told me you might not wake up Ash, I mean I literally fell apart but I had hope. Every single day that you were asleep, I wrote you a letter. They’re all in that box that you’re holding. You don’t have to read them now, you never have to read them actually, but I thought you should have them,” Ashley smiled and placed her hand on top of Spencer’s.
“What would I do without you?” She said kindly.
“You wouldn’t,” Spencer said back. Ashley had a question on her mind. It had been lingering there ever since she found out that she’d been asleep for 2 years. Although she would have loved to stay with Spencer, and just be normal for a few more minutes she had to ask and get it over with.
“Spence?”
“Yeah?”
“Did you ever.. you know… date someone else?”

Why do i get the feeling spencer is with aiden. Damn i know ashely is wondering if spencer has been with anyone eles. Cant wait to see what happens next.
I know I’m not the only one who noticed this, but I just have to say something , why does spencer keep referring to ashley as her “best friend” I get the feeling, and it’s a very strong feeling, that spencer is dating aiden now. I hope this feeling is wrong. well i’m off to the next post to figure it out.
