Knights of Rage – (Chapter: 7)

“I guess not,” I said. “I feel kinda bad.”

                “Why?” she asked.

“Your dad said I have a good head on my shoulders,” I said. “I bet he wouldn’t say that if he knew I was in a gang.”

“Like I said before, you have a great head on your shoulders,” she said stroking my cheek with her thumb. “After you leave, I’ll talk to them. I’ll tell them the truth.”

                “Are you sure?” I asked.

“Yeah,” she said. “I know you don’t wanna lie to them and I don’t either.”

“What if they freak out?” I said. “What if they never let me see you again?”

“Calm down,” she smiled. She cupped my face and kissed me lightly. I think everything is going to be fine. My parents are cool about things.”

“If you say so,” I said.

                “I do,” she said matter-of-factly.

“Well I better get going,” I said.

                “Are you sure?” she asked.

“No,” I said. “I don’t wanna go but I will so you can talk to your parents. If you wanna hang out later, just call me.”

“You can count on it,” she smiled.

“I will talk to you later then,” I said. I opened the door to the car.

“Do I not get a goodbye kiss?” she asked. “Or even a hug?”

“What was I thinking?” I said. I shut the door and grabbed a hold of Spencer tightly. I kissed her softly and sensually. I pulled back but kept a hold of her. “Better?”

“Much,” she smiled. She placed a few more soft kisses on my lips before pulling away. “Now get going.”

                “Are you sure?” I asked.

                “No,” she said.

We pulled apart and I opened the car door again. Spencer pushed it shut. She spun me around and kissed me hard. I was really caught off guard. She pushed me against the car. I wrapped my arms around her tightly. After a few minutes, she pulled away.

“Ok,” she said. “Now you can go.”

                “You’re evil,” I said.

She just smiled and walked away. “I’ll call you in a little while,” she said just before walking inside.

I just shook my head as I got in my car and headed home.
