    Uhm . . . basically . . . stuff happens. Ashley’s kinda clingy, has some flash backs and comes to a decision that I think is just . . . it done in self-defense, I’ll say that.

     

    Spencer turned on the shower and ducked inside. She quickly washed herself using shampoo.  Suddenly Ashley’s scent permeated the room and Spencer’s knees almost buckled. It was beginning to be too much. Even the scent of her sent Spencer into a weakened state. She finished up hastily and stepped out of the shower. Quickly she wrapped herself up in a huge towel, wishing instead that she was wrapped up in Ashley. She easily could be, all she had to do was walk down the hall, but logic and her sense of all things rational told her otherwise.

    Spencer dried off and threw her clothes on. She rapidly entered Ashley’s room, snatched her purse from the bedside table and replaced it with a note, then hurried out of the room. The door was halfway open when all of a sudden Ashley was leaning against it. Damn, how does she do that?

     

    Ashley grinned at her and slowly advanced for Spencer. Spencer backed up and she hit a wall. Ashley caged the blonde in by placing her arms on either side of the girl. Spencer audibly gulped and looked into Ashley’s eyes.

     

    “You don’t have to leave yet, do you?” Ashley asked innocently.

     

    “Uhm, yeah, I kinda do.” Spencer replied with an apology written on her face.

     

    Ashley leaned in closer and looked up with puppy dog eyes.

     

    “Do you have to?”

     

    “Yeah, but I don’t want to.” Spencer paused and stated her observation. “You’re hot when you’re all clingy.”

     

    Ashley raised her eyebrows and slanted backwards.

     

    “I’m not clingy.”

     

    Spencer chuckled softly.

     

    “Maybe not usually but right now you are.”

     

    Surprise dawned in Ashley’s eyes. Abruptly she reevaluated the situation. She was keeping her friend/lover/something-else captive like some kind of sex fiend. Ashley frowned at her obvious apprehension of Spencer leaving. This definitely wasn’t like her. Ashley had never had a problem before letting a girl leave. In fact, she was usually pushing them out the door. One-night-stands usually happened in this order.

     

    Pick girl up at a bar.

     

    Take girl back to apartment.

     

    Fuck brains out of said girl.

     

    Kick girl out.

     

    Take a shower.

     

    Things were suddenly becoming problematical. Ashley wasn’t the type of girl who had lasting relationships or the type of girl you took home to meet mom. She was the type of girl you meet at a bar, spend the night with, and never see again. Spencer said something but Ashley missed it.
