Chapter Six:
”Ever slept with a woman Kelly?” Alice said looking at Kelly as she sucked on her straw.
”Alice.” Tasha said.
Bette rolled her eyes, displeased at Alice at the moment but she knew if she acted this way too much they would know something was up, Tina would know.
Kelly smiled and let out a chuckle. ”You just jump right on in there. No, I haven’t but I almost did back in college.” Kelly looked at Bette and laughed. ”You all must know about me and Bette.”
Tina rolled her eyes and took a sip of her drink looking away from Kelly.
”Kelly there is really nothing to tell.”
“Bette, I let you kiss me and you fell in love with me.” Kelly said placing her hand on Bette’s arm.
Bette couldn’t react by quickly pulling her arm away from Kelly’s touch because it would lead to more unlike behaviour.
Tina noticed this and rolled her eyes again, she knew her eyes would be rolling all night.
”15 years ago, I was young and coming to terms that I was gay.” Bette pulled her arm slowly away and brought her hand to her face scratching it.
“Bette, if I didn’t reject you after that kiss, I think we would have been a couple maybe still have been a couple.” She laughed with smiles.
”I highly doubt that one Kelly.” Bette said taking a chug from her beer.
The girls around the table could sense the tension that came from Tina.
”Tina, would you like to join me to get refreshments?” Helena asked standing up.
Tina looked up at Helena lost in the moment of jealousy and anger.
“I’m going to get drinks, want to join?” Helena said seeing as she could tell Tina was lost at the moment.
Tina nodded. ”Sure. Bette, baby I will be right back.” Tina leaned in for a kiss before she stood following behind Helena.
Bette knew Kelly’s flirting was frustrating Tina.
Alice was having a field day, she was loving this, she had always been the one for some past time story telling of little Ms. Bette Porter.
“Bette, how come you never told us this story?” Alice looked at Bette questioning her.
“Like i said Alice there was nothing really to tell.” Bette said trying not to sound rude.

Kelly is a bitch !! I think Max should appear and decode the video and put video zoom demonstrate that Bette was collecting broken glass dreamed! I hope when I get home Bette be very hard sex with Tina!
Excellent chapter. Great writing. You can feel the awkwardness when Kelly and the gang are together. Kelly will not stop until she is successful in splitting Bette and Tina. Bette should stop procrastinating and tell Tina while she has control over how it comes out. If the video is shown to Tina before Bette tells her then you know what will hit the fan. Even if Tina believes Bette, the longer it takes to reveal then the more likely that distrust will remain in the back of Tina’s mind.
Great chapter. I really do hate the Kelly character and just wish she would drop off into a barrel of very hot oil to put her and everyone else out of their misery. Bette needs to wake the hell up and walk away from that gallery, she does not need it to feel complete, she is a major fool. All her presence in that gallery is doing is giving credence to kellys feelings and actually encouraging her further actions. Bette has always thought that because she doesnt have feelings for these women she thinks that will deter them when it does the opposite for those very brave and inconsiderate women. Bette is very lucky that Tina has come back to her and it is in grave jeopardy at the moment. Bette is a beautiful idiot. Hope all this stops soon before they are broken up permanently. Personally I think Tina should give her the behind kicking she deserves because Bette certainly will not stop it. Thanks for posting.
Ok we all know Bette is the reason her and Kelly’s gallery is a success and without her Kelly would fall flat on her ass…so Bettes job shouldn’t be a factor to why she hasn’t comforted Kelly about disrespecting her wife. Yes she has told Kelly that Tina is the love of her life and to back off, but its obvious that’s not getting through Kelly’s head. Bette needs to step up, confess to Tina, and stop acting like a coward.
