“Love you” Jess smiled hugging Tina “I have my phone if you need me”
Later that night…
Carmen, Jace and Jess walked into the house all laughing about something. Lisa looked up at them.
“If you wake Liam I will kill all three off you!”
Jace leaned down and kissed his wife “Are you okay?”
“Stressed”
“Why?”
“When you were all out I had to referee between Mum and Mama” Lisa explained
Jess sat down next to her sister “Fill me in”
“Mama pretty much asked Mum to sleep in the spare room, said she need’s space and Mum is really upset”
“Where is Mum?” Jess asked
“She lifted her car keys going for a drive, Mama is in her room” Lisa stated “They were proper going at it though, Well Mama was, Mum just kind of stood there and let Mama shout, Mason is freaked and he won’t speak to me about it…infact he slammed his door after telling them both to stop it.”
“Well isn’t this brilliant” Jess ran her hands through her hair standing up
“Where you going?” Lisa asked
“To speak to my brother” Jess walked out the room
Jace sat down pulling his wife into a hug “Look everyone is stressed and upset…people say things they don’t mean when their upset it will all blow over”
“I know it’s just hurtful to see Mama speak to Mum the way she did, I’ve never seen her speak to Mum like that.”
“Look at how I spoke to Jess after my accident…you lash out at the people you love the most” Carmen explained sitting on the sofa opposite.
“I know” Lisa sighed
Jess returned 20 minutes later
“He okay?” Carmen asked
“He’s asleep…I just gave him a cuddle and lay with him watching wrestling” Jess sat next to Carmen letting her head rest on Carmen’s shoulder
“You need to sleep” Carmen stated
“Ha you are joking right?” Jess laughed sarcastically
Tina walked in the door causing them all to shut up and look at her.
“What?” Tina asked
“You okay?” Jess asked
“Yes”
“You’re a rubbish liar Mum” Jess sighed getting up and hugging Tina “I’m sorry Mama is being like this with you and I’m sure she’s sorry too”
“You have nothing to be sorry for, I’m going to sleep in the guest room tonight” Tina sighed leaving the lounge
Jess and Lisa looked at each other.
“It’s going to be fine” Jace said “Let’s all just go get some sleep”

I think Bette is self conscience about her appearance since the surgery but instead of sharing her concerns with Tina, she is lashing out. Not cool Bette. Thanks for posting.
