Tina ran as fast as she could, pushing her body to the limit as she made her way through the large forest. She glanced down at her outfit and thanked her lucky stars she wore her hunting attire instead of the gown her father had insisted on. Her lungs burned and her legs were weakening but she knew better than to stop or even slow down.

An arrow whizzed by her head and impaled into the tree in front of her. Her head instinctively moved to the side as she glanced over her shoulder and saw that she was still in hot pursuit.

Skin such a dark purple it appeared almost brown, four arms and rope after rope of hard muscle covering their bodies. Gooru they were called, ruthless mercenaries hired most likely by someone who hated her father. They never stopped until they were either dead or their job was done. Tina was unarmed and there were 3 Gooru . . great.

Tina focused her attention to the muddy path before her, her eyes widening at the size of the log blocking her way. With expert skill, she placed her hand on the mossy log and swung both of her legs over it and kept running. She heard a loud crash and tossed another look over her shoulder. One of the Gooru had just barreled into the log, breaking it into pieces and never slowing in its pursuit.

Tina cursed under her breath, "Fuck"

She made it to a clearing, looking behind her shoulder once more to see how much distance there was between her and the brutes chasing her. Her foot got caught in a root that was sticking out of the ground and she crashed hard onto the floor.

Having no time to get up and run again, Tina grabbed a nearby rock and rolled her body over to throw it with all her strength. She hit one of the Gooru in between his eyes, earning a howl of pain from it. The other behind it leaped over his brother and charged at Tina with two swords in hand.
