Tina instantly became serious, "Maybe I should talk to him"

Bette shook her head, "Not yet, especially not with this latest attack"

Tina sighed, "I just . . maybe I should at least tone down how I treat you. He thinks I hate you for crying out loud. What if he assigns you somewhere else?"

Bette smirked, "He won’t, don’t worry"

Tina looked at Bette both worriedly and hopeful, "How can you be so sure?"

"I just do. Now . ." Bette leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Tina’s lips before climbing off of her. "I should get going before someone actually walks in on us"

Tina was sad but she understood. She nodded as she laid more comfortably into bed and watched as her lover walked toward the door, "We’ll finish this tomorrow night"
