    Glen comes home, Spencer tells Ash how she feels – and Drew finally makes it to Ashley’s door step…

    South Of Nowhere – 2.23 – Things Meant To Be

     

                Spencer was crouching next to her door, waiting for her father to go into his room.  She dashed down the stairs and into the den.  Rounding the corner, she stared at Ashley for a long moment.  She was on her back, both arms under her head, pert breast pressing against the sheer tee-shirt she was wearing.  Having stolen a pair of boxers from Clay, which read, I DIG CHICKS, with little chickens hatching on them.  Ashley’s eyes were closed; her soft breaths could be heard from the doorway.

     

                Spencer crept to the couch, kneeling next to her, letting her fingers find her cheek, Spencer’s breath was caught in her throat.  She just wanted this absolutely perfect girl to go back to being her lover, and not to being her friend, “Ash…” 

     

                “Hmmm…,” sighed Ashley, shifting slightly on the couch, feeling the press of Spencer’s body next to hers.  Sweet sensation washed over her, but she didn’t open her eyes right away.  Looking into Spencer’s wanting eyes was sometimes getting to be too much for her.

     

                “I love you,” said Spencer.  “And I’m never going to bail on you; I’ll wait as long as you need…” 

     

                Before Spencer could say another word, Ashley grabbed her, pulling her onto the bed and kissing her wantonly.  Frantic hands reached under Spencer’s nightshirt, both girls moaned softly.  Tongues sweeping into each other’s mouths, Ashley frantically pulled off Spencer’s tee-shirt, her mouth quickly finding an already hard nipple.  Ashley broke the kiss after a long moment of bliss, “I never said I didn’t want you…,” muttered Ashley.  “It’s just…”

     

                “Shhhh, s’okay,” assured Spencer, “I know, I get it, you don’t want to get kicked out, and I don’t want you to go.”  Kissing her again, Ashley rotated her hips, pressing her body into Spencer.  Spencer enjoying the soft crush of her weight, running her hands up and down Ashley’s back.

     

                “We can’t do this,” whispered Ashley, “because I need to be on my best behavior.  I know I’m being a prude, I know I tore off your shirt, but…  I don’t know if we should be doing this.”
