“That’s what friends are for.” She smiles before linking my arm in hers and heading back to her car.
So, I have not spent a minute away from Spencer in three weeks; making up for lost time I guess. I find it amusing listening to the conversations between her and Jesse; mostly because half of their calls consist of Spencer wiggling out of spending time with her to be with me. The rest of her calls to Jesse are spent telling her about me. I can’t help but feel temporarily victorious over my undeclared archrival. Unfortunately, Spencer will be leaving again in two days and I will have to wish her well and send her off with ‘mini me’. So for now I will bask in the glory.
“What do you want to do tonight?” I ask Spencer as we sit in her bedroom, watching TV.
“Actually, I promised Jess I would hang out with her tonight.” I breathe in a deep breath. I want to be mad. I want to keep Spencer all to myself, but I know I have been a complete attention whore the past couple weeks.
“That’s fine. You guys should spend some time together.” She almost seems disappointed that I do not put up a fight.
“You want to come?” Yeah right! Spend quality time with my replacement; that might happen.
“No, thanks! You two can grope each other without the benefit of my company.” She shoots me the look. You know the ‘don’t be stupid’ look. “What? I’m sure Jesse is not going to want me tagging along.” Plus, I just don’t want to be around her.
“It would really mean a lot to me if you got to know her.” I sigh at the words, because I know I am a sitting duck. She is going to bust out the please face – she knows she has me. “Pleeease!” She pouts her lip and saddens her eyes. Damn it!
“Fine. I will get to know her, but that doesn’t mean I have to like her.”
“Thank you!” She squeals as she jumps up and down clapping.

Wow…**shaking head slowly** I don’t think I could let my girl go w/my clone so easily, that sucks! Ashley is a far better person than me! Spencer won’t stay w/Jess, even if she’s a substitude…there’s just no replacement for the real thing at times…Cheers!!
I am having a hard time believing this one. It is weird that Spencer is not talking about Jesse with Ashley. It is weird, Spencer and Jesse haven’t seen each other for much of 3 weeks and they don’t kiss? Jesse is not jealous? Are we sure they are going out? Can’t wait to see where you are going with this. Why can’t Spencer and Ashley just be honest with each other and deal with a long distance relationship….I know, because it wouldn’t make for such a great story! Can’t wait to see where you are taking us on this adventure…because I know in my heart that you will put them back together at some point..I hope :-)
Aw man, gotta give a hand out to Ash though, what a good sport…God, if I were in her position, I would’ve killed Jesse for trying to steal Spencer…no matter how great of girl she is…lol, but that’s just me. Goes to show how much of a jealous fool I am=P Anyways, please do continue love=D

No!!! Her future belongs with Ashley and Ashely only! Why do you have them apart like this?!! I have to say that this is a very mature Ashely, but she is in love with Spencer, they belong together!! Aaahhhh please post very very soon!!
Ashley shouldn’t give up with out a fight. We all know she can get her back if she tried and fully mean it. pms

WHAT? OMG NO!Ewww why would spencer want to be with a clone? it will never be as good as the original. And that jesse character is fishy, come on, she doesn’t get jealous? it’s clear that Spencer prefers ashley over her… so aughh.Ashley should just transfer schools and get spencer, cause spencer and the cloned don’t seem to be much fun.Great chapter, i almost hate it that i feel so involved with the story and the character, almost, as it is so much fun
Ok we and my friend figured this out, not that we talk about your fic I mean, we have lives (ok we don’t) Jesse is a robot clone! made by spencer to get ashley jealous. It is clear she has no feelings, otherwise she would get jealous…
