I shook those terrible feelings out of my system and decided a shower would be best, assuming the water washing over me would be both physically and emotionally cleansing. I guess it had somewhat succeeded; I was clean, but still feeling ashamed. Before I had time to mull things over even more, my phone began to ring. I walked to it, wondering who it was. There was no way Ashley would be ready to go yet.
“Hello?” I asked, not bothering to check my caller ID.
“Hey Spencer!”
“Hi Michelle. What’s up?”
“Oh, not too much. But it’s always nice waking up to a phone call from your best friend,” she said. Okay, now she had my attention.
“Ashley called you?”
“Yup. Jealous?”
“Uh, not really… considering the fact that I just saw her a half an hour ago,” I reminded her.
“I know. So… are you having fun?”
“Yeah, I am,” I admitted. “Is she?”
“What do you think?” Michelle asked.
“I hope she is.”
“Well, let’s just put it this way. When she called, I could practically hear her smiling through the phone. And I don’t even think that’s physically possible. So congrats: you’ve helped Ashley defy the laws of physics… or gravity or something nerdy like that.”
“Thanks,” I replied with a giggle.
“Anytime.”
“So…”
“I’m guessing you’d like some more info, then?”
“That wasn’t really my intention, but feel free,” I joked.
“Hmm… let’s see if I can muster up any good Ashley quotations…” she began. A few moments passed by before she thought of one. “Oh, here we go. At one point, she asked me what the easiest ways to quit smoking are… you know, like, the patch or the gum, hypnosis… And then I asked her why, and she said, ‘Spencer said she’d never want to be with someone who smoked.’”
“She said that?” I asked in disbelief. I was completely and utterly stunned.
“Yup.”
“Wow. So… does that mean…”
“That she wants to be with you again?”
“Well, yeah.”
“I don’t know… you could always ask her though.” Yeah, right. Like I was going to ask her that, after we’d spent one day together for the first time in four years. “I have to go, though. Work is beckoning.”

hm. just as amazing as the ones before this! seriously though..if you go and make them break back up..i’ll have to hurt you. well..obviously not hurt you, ‘cos i have no clue who you are..but i’ll have to like..curse you. or something equally weird. and scary.
God Damn IT! How can you just leave us like that? Wondering, waiting, anxious? Ashley taking crazy pills is crazy. I want to know more and thank GOD Michelle is back. Get her and Spencer to talk more. I love the way Michelle tells Spencer everything Ashley says. Amazing! Love you and Love this post. Please write some more ‘cos ur killing me. PLEASE!
I so want them so get there freak on. They need to get together and stay together. Cant wait to see what happens next. PMS.

AW Shucks, They sorted out an awkward moment. Who wants to marry ash, hands up *hand up*. Ok, ok, so I’m really a spence girl at heart but ash in this fic, way too cool for shoes. Only the best people go barefoot. Hence I imagine you barefoot, cos you babe, one of the BEST. Uh, I love this story so much I cannot say. It makes my day when you post. And now that other of my fave stories have been finishing… what else do I have. You! You’re it! You’re keeping me on that thin line from asylum. It’s a big chore, but you, you’re up to it :) Love the update, you knew that though.

I’ll have you know nerds are quite sexy. Take my pal Clark Kent for instance. Oh and dont feel bad about sad memories, everyone’s got a skeleton or two. better to be exposed than carry old rocks in your back back. Well I”m off to relax, its been a long day of Moving the World. I need my super sleep. *swoosh*
