Twenty minutes later, Aiden was knocking on my door. Benny barked a bit when he first came in; he never did like men. But I shooed him into my bedroom and then went back to the foyer.
“Sorry about that,” I said.
“No problem.”
“So… this is my apartment!”
“It’s really nice,” he remarked. “It’s pretty big for the city, too.”
“Yeah, it was a good find.”
“Yeah… well… not to be an ass, but let’s get some coffee… I want to hear everything.”
“You sound like such a girl, Aiden,” I teased.
“If I was a girl, I’d be gayer than you or Ashley. Hell, if I was a girl, I’d be gayer than Ted Haggard on a meth binge.”
“Alright,” I laughed. “I’ll give you props for that one.”
We walked outside and to the nearest Starbucks, which was, of course, about 200 feet from my apartment. After we got our drinks, we found some available chairs and sat down.
“So… how did it go?” he asked finally, after a few moments of awkward silence.
“It was really, really nice.”
“I want a play-by-play,” he insisted.
“Fine,” I relented. I told him what had happened, from the first disastrous dinner to the last, but I of course left out a few details… i.e., the kissing and spooning. My descriptions were pretty generic… I didn’t really want Aiden to know everything.
“Wait… so, you’re saying she slept at your apartment 3 out of the 4 nights she was here?”
“Well… yeah. We didn’t, like, sleep with each other. She just… slept over.”
“Right…”
“I’m serious! Come on, Aiden. We hadn’t seen each other in 4 years. You think we’d really do that so soon?”
“Uh… yes,” he said.
“You’re impossible,” I said, shaking my head as I smiled.
“So where does that leave the two of you?”
“I don’t know,” I admitted. “I mean… at first she was saying we should just be friends. And obviously, like, with the distance that seemed like the right way to go. But… but then some things happened and we sort of realized that being friends isn’t exactly an option…”
“You slept together!”
“No!” I protested. “We didn’t. We just… we kissed.”
“I knew it!”
“But don’t say anything to Michelle, okay? I’m not sure if Ashley wanted her to know.”

Michelle is the shite. and I love how Spencer always smiles, and how Ashley smiles for good/bad porn, and people falling. I do too. And i love this chapter, and I love….

I LOVE THIS STORY!!!! okay, I am sooo happy that you posted today and I can’t wait to see what will happen next for our girls and I am glad that Ashley quit smoking because she does want to make Spencer happy and I also hope that THEY WILL BE BACK TOGETHER> ALSO I LOVE MICHELLE, she is sooo FUNNY!!!! Thank you soooooo much. I love you forever for updating this story here, too. I love Michelle more but, I love Aiden too. He’s one of the girls. I love how Ashley claimed Spencer, too. Uh…yeah…I’m going to have to go ahead and apologize for not commenting on this story since 1986. The Cliff’s Notes reason: work. Anyway, I’ve definitely been following this story (especially at work…wait a minute. This just may be the reason I’ve been working late every night for the last 3 weeks). Nonetheless, this story is still fantastic. As for Spencer, can she stop watching Sex and the City and go and have some Sex IN the city of L.A. with Ashley? Paging Clarity’s tact. I repeat, paging Clarity’s tact. You’re wanted immediately! Man that sounded crude. Let’s try this again – hopefully during Spencer’s impending trip to L.A., the dynamic duo will discuss a few more issues and then “cuddle” to end the night. Looking forward to the next chapter, Kozmic and again, sorry about my disappearing act.
