    Chapter 4

    Spencer’s POV

    *KNOCK, KNOCK*

“What!?” I yelled irritated towards my door.

“Spence, it’s time to go” my dad said softly. I just glared at him and grabbed my backpack and sketchpad and walked past him. All my other stuff was in the car. I hadn’t talked to my dad since the fight we had the other night, he tried but I refused. I just locked myself up in my room and packed, drowning in my music or went out with Joey. The car ride there was silent and I’m glad it was just me and my dad. Cindy had to work, thank God. I don’t know what I would have done if she came with us. It took almost an hour to get to this fucking place and when we pulled up I noticed kids my age, some younger, all walking around or standing in groups. This is fucking stupid.

    ‘Spencer, you know that I-”

“No dad. Just don’t okay? I’m not mad at you anymore, I’m glad to be away from the house. But I will miss you and Joey” I said softly without looking at him. He put his hand on my shoulder and I finally turned my gaze to meet his, tears in both of our eyes.

“I’m sorry it had to come down to this Spence. You know I love you baby and I just want what’s best for you and right now this is it. I will visit you every weekend that I can I promise. I think this is gonna be a good place for you sweetie, and maybe one day you’ll thank me” he said, leaning forward and placing a kiss on my forehead.

I didn’t say anything back, I didn’t feel the need to. I just smiled a little and turned to get out of the car putting my sunglasses on. My dad helped me get my stuff and I took a deep breath and started walking towards the check in tent with my dad behind me. And so it begins.

    Ashley’s POV

“Hey Mac, you have your list and everything together? The kids are gonna be here any minute” I asked my best friend. I actually met her when I was attending this camp, we became best friends, and now we’re counselor’s together.
