    Untitled – (Chapter: Chapter Twenty-Two)

Spencer walked away from Ashley and Ashley went after her.  “Spence, will you please stop!” Ashley said.  Talk to me!  I’m not going to let you walk away from me, from us!

“Shouldn’t you go back to Glen!” said Spencer bitterly.  You two have gotten really close lately!

“I don’t want Glen,” Ashley replied.  I want you, Spencer!

“You lie,” retorted Spencer.  Spencer angrily punched a locker door leaving a dent.  She winced in pain.  Ashley caught up with Spencer and took Spencer’s injured hand.

“We’re taking you to the nurse’s office to have your hand checked out,” Ashley stated.

“That was stupid to punch that damn locker,” sighed Spencer.  I c-can’t move my hand.  Ashley had a concerned look her face.

“On second thought, we’re going to run to the locker,” Ashley added.  Ashley and Spencer were about to run to the nurse’s office when Aiden appeared.

“What the hell happened to my locker?” Aiden asked suspiciously.

“Nothing,” answered Ashley.  Just leave us alone.  We have somewhere else we have to be than to be given the third degree from an asshat like you.  Aiden noticed Ashley holding on to Spencer’s hand.

“Your psycho of a girlfriend punched my locker, didn’t she?” Aiden growled.  You sure know how to pick them, Ashley.

“Come again?” asked Ashley angrily.  What did you just call my girl?

    “You heard me,” Aiden answered.

“Spencer’s not the psycho, Dennison,” responded Ashley.  You are.  At least she doesn’t throw things around the house or at other people like you do.  Ashley walked away and Ashley began with a sigh, “I’m sorry about him.  He’s a moron and don’t worry I’ll get him later and Glen as well and I’ll castrate them both.”

“He was right though,” Spencer pointed out with a sigh.  I’m a psycho.

“The day Aiden Dennison is right is the day that hell freezes over a thousand times and that my dear isn’t anytime soon,” responded Ashley.  Spencer let out a light chuckle and Ashley began, “What I told you wasn’t a lie about me choosing the right Carlin.  I made the right choice of who I want to be with and that’s you.  It’s always been you.  I only am in love with you and no one or nothing can change that.  As for your stupid brother, nothing is ever going to happen between Glen and I.  He might think something may, but I know nothing will ever happen.  I happen to fall for the most wonderful and beautiful in the world, and I’m not going to mess up what we have together.”
