"Ashley, you must try to remain calm and quiet during this meeting. His lawyer is very good at what she does, and we need to be careful."

"Alright."

We make our way into the building and over to the elevators. We don’t have to wait long for one to arrive, and we get on. He presses the button for the floor we need and we begin to make our way up.

When the doors open, I follow him over to the receptionist.

"Good morning, I’m Mr. Johnson and we have an appointment to meet with Miss Carlin."

She checked her computer before nodding, "Down the hall and it’s the last door on your left."

"Thank you," he began to head down the hall, so I followed him.

He knocked on the door before opening the door for me. I walked in and stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of the woman next to Aiden.

I swallowed and moved to shake her hand before I had to sit opposite of Aiden, it had become routine since this was his third divorce lawyer. She already had her hand out, so I took it in mine and I shivered, but hid it. I couldn’t help letting my thumb caress the back of her hand. Her skin was smooth and so soft. I took my hand away and moved to sit.

I kept my sunglasses on this entire time and was not above to remove them, since I was pretty sure my eyes were darker then usual.

"Hello Ashley."

I ignored Aiden and turned to my lawyer, who was now sitting next to me, "Can we get this over with this fast? I have better things to do."

"Of course, Mrs. Davies."

"My client wants half of everything."

"Mr. Dennison can want all he want, it’s not what he deserves or will receive. He cheated on Mrs. Davies."

"That is because Mrs. Davies pulled away and began to distance herself."

I felt myself getting a little angry at this utterly fuckable bitch.
