Tina pulled up to the house. It had been a long drive out to Bettes place. How Kit had talked her into this she did not know. She had put all of her feelings for Bette away.into a part of her heart and mind that she never went to. She had shut down after that night. Her stubbornness had kicked in and she had been steadfast in her refusal to deal with what had happened. She had gone back to work, to find herself again, become whole again. She was once again an extremely successful development executive, exactly what she had set out to achieve. Then why did she feel so empty and alone? In her quiet moments, which she avoided, the failure of her relationship with Bette haunted her.

Tina got out of the car and rang the bell of the house. It was small but the location was to die for. No answer. Where the ***** was she? Bette knew she was coming out today. What game was she playing now? She noticed a path that led to the back of the house and the ocean so she took it.

Bette heard the click click sound of high heals and said a small prayer. please let this go well , I need her in my life again.

Tina noticed a small figure sitting on the deck, looking out at the ocean. The womans hair was medium length, dark and very curly. She was jeans and a t-shirt which were both covered in paint. The woman got up slowly and turned to meet her gaze. Tina stopped dead in her tracks. It was Bette, those beautiful brown eyes looking intently at her. Tinas breath caught in her throat and her heart started beating faster. How could she still have this affect on me? And what is with that outfit?

Bette couldnt believe that Tina was finally there in front of her. Tina had on a tailored suit, high heels and a light blue silk shirt that offset her eyes. She looked so damn ***** but Bette couldnt help but stifle a laugh. What is with that outfit?

Bette approached Tina and smiled. Thanks for coming Tina, its good to see you again. I know I have no right to say this but Ive missed you.
Tina: Its good to see you too Bette. Its been too long. From the way we are dressed it looks like weve both changed a lot
Bette laughed: I feel like with have changed places.
