Bettes phone rang
Bette: Hello? Bette Porter
Alice: hey you, where the ***** have you been?
Bette: hey Alice nice to hear from you. (Laughing)
Alice: Hear from me, Ive been calling you for two weeks, no return call, you had me really worried. So spill it Porter?
Bette still laughing. Alice was her best friend but she was so nosy.

Bette: yeah, Im sorry shes just so, I dont know Al shes great, I cant seem to get enough of her.

She had just hung up when her phone rang again
Bette: Al I said Id call if….
Tina: Bette?
Bette: oh hi T, Im sorry Alice just called and Id just hung up with her and the phone rang again.
Tina: so how is Alice?
Bette: laughing, Shes fine, shes Alice, she was giving me a bad time about being a little unavailable the few weeks, I told her I was preoccupied.

Bette: oh, this beautiful blonde I met a few weeks ago is in my every thought, I cant seem to stop thinking about her, shes got me totally intoxicated.
Tina: mmm..how so Ms. Porter?

Tina: well, It must be going around, Im feeling the same way about a gorgeous brunette I met a few weeks ago.
Bette: so maybe we should get together and discuss our mutual dilemmas.
Tina: Okay, any plans tonight?
Bette: Not without you.
Tina: Be at my place at 7:00, Im cooking us dinner.
Bette: you dont have to do that, I can pick up something.
Tina: No, I want to and besides I have surprise for you.
Bette: What? Come on T tell me.
Tina: No babe, its a surprise, but be prepared for anything, oh and dont make any plans for tomorrow either.
Bette: Tina? T?
Tina: No Porter, see you at 7:00, be ready! Laughing Tina hung up.

Bette was full of questions, Tina was so amazing, just talking to her made Bette heart beat faster, she was excited but wondering about tonight. She knew she would do anything for this woman.
Bette went home to get ready for her evening, there was a message on her machine: Hey babe, hope your anxious about tonight, bring wine and ice cream, Ill take care of everything else, see ya soon. Tina left the message about an hour ago. Bette was getting curious and yes anxious. She got in the shower and started getting ready.

Meanwhile Tina had been thinking of little else in the last few days except Bette, she knew in her heart she was falling in love with her, but neither of them had said those words yet. Tina had made chicken piccata, angel hair pasta, and grilled asparagus, it was terrific.

Bette: this is delicious Tina, another of your hidden talents. She took Tinas hand. You amaze me . Everyday, I find out something new about you.
Tina: thanks, but you bring out the best in me.
They finished eating and Bette helped Tina clean up. They went to the living room with their wine.

Tina: Bette I need to talk to you.
Bette: okay Tina, what is it?
Tina: Well, weve been seeing each other or dating for 3-4 weeks now and Im, well sorry Im really nervous, I dont think….(Bette got a sudden look of worry on her face)Tina took her hand and continued.
