New York at dawn was not something the girls expected. They were crossing Manhattan Bridge with their mouths wildly open. The city beautiful skyline with the early morning light was welcoming them.

They were all in a small van. Alice, Shane and Jack in one seat and Bette and Tina in the back.
Watching the beautiful city ahead of them Bette took Tinas hand in hers. Tina smiled at Bettes gesture. She rested her head on her shoulder, snuggling her face on her neck, looking for Bettes contact. She closed her eyes, smelling Bettes soft neck.

Tee, you have to see this, look at the colour of the sky, is beautiful Bette whispered to Tina, kissing her lightly on the lips.

Alice on the front seat was rolling her eyes at Bette& Tina, she was dying to put her hands on Dana, her lips on hers.
Jack was whispering to Shane who was smiling at Jacks silly comments.

They finally made it to the hotel. It was a small cozy hotel in what is left of Little Italy. They all rushed to their rooms the moment they had the keys.

Alice was planning on surprise Dana who didnt know at what time their plane was going to land. Shane, yawning, walked to her room, just across the hall from Bette&Tinas and close to Jacks.

They all decided to meet for lunch at a small restaurant two blocks away, that way theyd do whatever they feel like till the time to meet the others arrived.

Bette opened the door to their room, helping Tina with the bags. Tina jumped on the bed, looking at Bette with a smile that she was getting to love more and more every day.

You tired baby? Tinas playful tone made Bette shiver with anticipation.
Tina was not only throwing Bette dirty looks but was standing on the bed, moving her hips in a very sensual dance that was making impossible for Bette to look anywhere but Tinas hips.

Tina was looking at Bette, loving the lusty look on her face. She jumped off the bed and walking slowly towards her, whispered,

I have a surprise for you babe Tina was walking around a confuse Bette who was still pretty much lost in Tinas previous dance. She was whispering, not touching her, letting Bettes arousal grow with every little move Tina was making. Hearing Bette sighing made Tina stopped and leaning into her, while Bette was closing her eyes said,

Give me your hand Tina, not waiting for Bette to do anything took her hand in hers. Tina could see Bettes arousal on her face but her trembling hand confused her.

Are you ok baby? Tina could feel Bettes inner fears. Bette was nodding, her eyes close, still.

Tina, holding Bettes hand moved closer and snuggling into her soft long beautiful neck she kissed her all the way up to her mouth. They were small tiny very sweet kissed. Tina was trying to calm whatever was worrying Bette.

Baby, come here. Holding Bettes hand, Tina leaded her to the bed, helping her, they both ended lying on it.

Bette was lying facing Tina. She wanted to close her eyes, didnt want to talk with her, just wanted to be there, with her.

Tina with a worried, full of love and concern look on her face was looking at Bette, caressing her face, drawing the edge of her beautiful nose, touching her lips.
It was always Bettes lips what broke Tinas heart. She could read those lips better than anyone. Bette was master hiding her emotions, she was a master hiding everything behind her beautiful eyes but she was not able, probably because she was not aware of it, to hide anything behind her lips.

They look at each other for a long time. Bette was calming down while Tina was trying to know what was bothering Bette that much.

Tina was thinking about last months. She was happy to realize how far theyve gone with their relationship.

Tina felt that Bette was opening to her as she has never done before and she was responding to all that with her body as never before. Tina was still amaze at how much she wanted Bette. She not only lusted her as never before but she wanted her all the time, anywhere.

Looking at Bette now, seeing concern and fear in her eyes put a knot on Tina stomach, making her wonder if the stress about meeting Peggy and the new show was going to put back Bette to her old self. But this time Tina was not going to let that happen without a fight.


Baby (Tina took Bette into a hug and holding her, making Bettes head rest on her collarbone added), will you talk with me? Tell me, whats bothering you (kissing her on top the head), please Bette

Tina felt Bette tensing in her arms but she didnt let her go. Tina caressed Bette bare arms, tenderly, slowly.

Babe?


Sighing deeply Bette nodded. She didnt move from Tinas embrace, she cuddled even more, trying to hide her face in her.

“Wont you be mad at me if I tell you?” Asked Bette, whispering.

I wont Bette, I promise. Tina was not sure if shed be mad or not but she was sure she was not going to show it to Bette. She was seeing Bette more vulnerable than ever so she was going to let her talk and then try to support her. Tina was thankful that Bette was willing to share her fears.

Tee, you know how much I love you, right? Bette was still whispering, fighting all her fears as she was speaking.

Of course I do, why you ask Bette, was wrong? Tina moved her hand, trying to lift Bettes face so shed read it.

Bette didnt let Tina move her face, she needed to hide her face in Tinas chest to be able to continue talking.

Am scare Tee, am scare that you dont love me as much as I love you


Tina was opening her mouth to answer to Bette but listening to Bette sighing, she closed it again, waiting for her to continue.

Tee, this past months have been amazing, I love you more than Id ever imagined and I love the way you have loved me. I love the way you want me, the way you look at me, the way you make love to me but

Tina could tell that Bette was crying silently. Shed feel Bettes body shivering on hers, noticing all that Tina hugged Bette even tighter, waiting for her to continue talking, kissing her lightly on her head.


but Tee, sometimes only sometimeswhen I see you talking with Jack, when I see how she looks at youI feel my heart braking in a million pieces. I feel sick Tee, I dont think Id live without you and the idea, the thought, that one day youd wake up realizing that you love her and not me, haunts me.


Tina was frozen by Bettes words, shed feel Bettes arms hugging her harder. Sighing deeply, noticing a tear rolling down her cheek Tina moved a little so Bette could see her face.

Moving her lips to Bettes, she left them there for a while, just wanting to feel Bette. Then, Tina gave Bette a sweet tender kiss and braking apart she rest her head as close as possible to Bettes.


“Baby, I love you. I love you with all my heart, my soul and my body. I am in love with you, Im in love with your body, your soul and all your insecurities. I know the worst of you and I still love you. Ive seen the worst of you and still I came back. I told you Bette. I once stopped loving you, and I did it on purpose, I worked on it, I needed to do it. I needed to survive, I needed to be born again, as me. Not as Tina, from Bette and Tina . And then, I met Jack

Tina was seeing Bettes tears roll down her face, she was quietly crying over Tinas words. Tina took Bettes hand and held it in between hers, close to her heart.

Bette close her eyes, it was too much for her to listen Tina talking.


Bette open you eyes, look at me (Tinas serious tone made Bette opened her yes) I need you to look at me while I say all this, I need you to notice every fibre of my body, the look in my eyes, I need you to understand what I am saying


Tina leaned to kiss Bette again, very briefly on the lips.


I woke up loving Jack, and facing it I realized it wasnt what I wanted. I was loving Jack because I needed to not because I wanted to. She was part of my healing, she knew it before I did. Bette you dont have to worry, I love you, I know what I want, I want you. I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Im in love with you. Each and every part of me lusts you, dies for you to touch it. I wake up every morning dying to put my eyes on you and I go to bed every night thanking fate, destiny or whatever god is up there for giving us another chance.


Bette was sobbing. Tinas words were filling her scared heart, filling her worried mind.


“Bette, I love Jack, she is my friend, and always will be. We share something special. She saved me when I most needed it, and I broke her heart (Tina releasing one of her hands made Bette to look at her fully in the eyes). Bette, Jack loved me and I choose you. We have talked about it all, and she is no longer in love with me, I know the way she looks at me, but is not lust Bette, is knowledge. The knowledge that we share a secret, we share the knowledge that she helped me. Its not a secret anymore as am telling you Bette, but is still Jacks and mine.

Bette was nodding, listening to Tina.


I know you are stress baby, but you have to work on that. You can not let that make you wonder every time you see me talking with her. You have to trust me, you have to believe me. There is nothing else I can do to assure you, to show you how much I love you, but if you cant trust my words, the look in my eyes when I look at you, my touch…, then there is nothing left for us.


Bette taking Tina in her arms hugged her as tight as possible, leaning into her, she whispered,

You are my life Tee. I promise you I wont let this happens again. Believe when I say I trust you with all my heart.

They held each other for a long, long time, unable to speak any more, exhausted.
